    Nissan Motors plans to export 250,000 vehiclesmanufactured in its India plant by 2011.

    General Motors announced its plans to export about50,000 cars manufactured in India by 2011. By 2010,India is expected to witness over Rs 30,000 crore ofinvestment.

    Maruti Udyog has set up the second car with aninvestment of Rs 6,500 crore.

    Hyundai will bring in more than Rs 3,800 crore to India.

    have been increasing in the course of theworldwide economic downturn.

    Passenger car sales rose 31% to 115,067 units inJuly from 87,901 units a year ago.

    The effect of inflation has taken the rise in the

    price rate of the cars by 3-4% which in turnsuffices the need to meet the rise in price of theraw materials to build a car.

    The effect of inflation has affected not only theproduction and sales of Indian cars but also hassignificantly affected the car dealer, officialsand car financers.
