From Johannesburg8 hours to Kosi Bay / Manguzi

Take the M1 Highway heading South and turn left onto the M2 East. •The highway splits into two - towards Springs and towards Durban. Take the split that leads to Springs.You will now be on the N17 National Road and will continue towards Leandra. Continue on the N17. You will pass through the towns of Trichardt, •Bethal, Ermelo and Piet Retief. Once you have reached Piet Retief you will have completed about 400km and are over 1/2 way to the destination.In Piet Retief, road changes to N2 National Road. Follow this road to •Pongola and pass through the town.Look out for the turn-off to Jozini (approximately 45km outside •Pongola). You will now be on the A1183.Follow the signs to Kosi Bay. The journey from Jozini to Manguzi, •Kosi Bay will take approximately two hours.Pass Manguzi town and proceed approximately 5km and look •out for the turn off to Kosi Bay Lodge. Turn right onto sand road and follow the Kosi Bay Lodge / Country House signs until you see Lunamanzi Lodge on your right.

From Durban4 - 5 hours to Manguzi, Kosi Bay

Take the N2 North bound route towards Richards Bay and •Empangeni (do not go into the towns). You will pass Mtubatuba. Continue until you see the turn-off to Sodwana / Hluhluwe. Take the •off-ramp and turn right at the stop street towards Hluhluwe town. Pass two round-a-bouts. On the third round-a-bout, turn left and travel parallel to the railway line. At the stop street, turn right and cross over the railway line. Continue along this road. You will pass Mbazwana. Continue for •approximately 1 hour until you see a sign post for the Farazela border / Kosi Bay./ Manguzi.Pass Manguzi town and travel for approximately 5km. Look out for •the turn off to Kosi Bay Lodge. Turn right onto sand road and follow Kosi Bay Lodge / Country House signs until you see Lunamanzi Lodge on your right.
