Dear God our Father,
In the name of him who gave bread to the hungry,
we remember all who,
through our human ignorance, folly, and sin,
are condemned to live in want.
Show us, who have so much, what we can do
to help those who have so little;
and bless the efforts of those
who work to overcome poverty and hunger,
that sufficient food may be found for all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Student Council Thanksgiving Food Drive
Bring one of the items listed below during the week of November 18th-22nd and dress down on the day you make the donation. All
items will benefit the hungry people of our community.
Items: stuffing mix, boxed potatoes, canned gravy, canned yams, corn, green beans or other vegetables, canned cranberry sauce,
applesauce, and juice boxes or pouches. (No glass, please.)
Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving from the KCS Student Council.
Oh, What a night!!
This past weekend we celebrated our silent auction and cocktail party fundraiser, and there are many people
within our KCS family that deserve recognition and gratitude. The auction committee is made up of a handful of
dedicated parents who worked tirelessly to prepare for this event. Parents, friends of KCS, faculty and staff,
alumni, and supporters of Catholic education joined to help raise money in an effort to keep local Catholic
education affordable. Many local businesses generously donated items to be auctioned off and the prizes were
plentiful. Please remember to patronize these businesses and thank them for their help and donations.
It is with sincere thanks that I recognize the KCSFO Auction Committee for their commitment and perseverance.
Many new faces have joined the team this year, including both of our chairpersons, and with them they brought
new ideas and exciting changes. It has been a pleasure to work with all of you, and I look forward to next year.
With gratitude,
Melissa Zimmer ~ KCSFO President

Stop selling and start earning! Scrip fundraising is a no-selling program that allows families to raise money for their non-profit organization (NPO). Scrip is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards.
You purchase gift cards from your organization at face value, and your coordinator orders those cards from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a reduced price. The difference is an instant rebate for your organization. It’s really that simple!
When you use scrip gift cards at your favorite retailers, you’re fundraising while you shop. Great Lakes Scrip Center offers over 300 of the country’s biggest brands, including grocery, department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, home improvement, and more. Just by using scrip to pay for your normal weekly purchases, you can easily raise $500 or more per year. It’s time to put your shopping dollars to work!

Scrip is a fundraiser through which your everyday spending can raise money for KCS - at no extra cost to you! Simply purchase gift cards to your favorite retailers. You will receive the full value of your gift card and
KCS will receive a cash donation, (percentages listed on order form.)
Remember that gift cards make great gifts for Mother’s Day, and they are also a great teacher appreciation gift as well!
If you plan on purchasing uniforms, remember that Land’s End provides 15% donation to KCS on both the $25 and $100 gift cards. (KCS receives $15 with the purchase of a $100 gift card.)
Christmas Shopping could not be easier !Scrip Gift Card Fundraiser
Payments are by cash or check made payable to Kingston Catholic School.
Order Forms and payment must be received by December 6 for cards to be delivered on time, no extensions will be allowed.
