Dear Ali Sluys, please find attached an amended picture concerning the details on our Farm Bore. This bore is used for two family houses, 141 hectare non‐irrigated pasture dairy farm, 240 Dairy cows and supporting stock and a 28 bale Rotoflow (Floating on water) Cowshed. It was installed in 1991, before the council made the regulations of declaring the quantity water usage. Water is essential to our business. The limited notification letter requested the following details be provided with your submission: Details of the property location and, if possible, the legal description (this should be as stated on the rates
demand for the property); and
A map (sketch drawing) showing the location of your groundwater bore/well or surface water take inrelation to your property boundaries or house; and
Details of your groundwater bore/well (if known), including its depth, age, depth of pump, and details onhow much water is taken and what it is used for.
Unfortunately, your submission did not contain this information. For council to accept your submission, werequire the above information to be provided so that it is able to clearly identify you as an affected person. We now provide a second opportunity for you to provide this requested information to support your submission. To facilitate this, we have included with this letter an aerial photograph of your property. Could you please return this information to the council by 15 December 2017. If we do not receive this information by this date, council will assume that you do not have a water take on your property and that youare not an affected person for these applications.
