TUBE RACE - THE GAME

THE AIM To put on all your clothes as quickly as possible to avoid embarrassment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEEDAn empty underground train carriage, a group of friends, two cameras, clothes.

THE RULES• Split into two teams (i.e. girls v boys).• Start filming.• Once the tube carriage is empty, remove your clothes.• Pile the clothes in the middle of the carriage.• Underwear may be kept on.• Once the train starts moving the players rush to put on their clothes.• Distracting the other team and throwing their clothes is permitted.• When the train stops so must the players. • Semi-naked players must act normally amongst the commuters.

The winner is the team to put on all of their clothes and sit down.

THE PRIZEKudos, embarrassing the others, fun.

The Virals will simply show this game being played. The players will be a group of friends genuinely having fun, (see storyboards).

Have you noticed semi-naked people on the tube recently? Have you seen their friends in hysterics? They’ve been ‘Tube Racing’. A game of basic skills, high stakes and laughter.

These games will be shot naturally, by the players, making it feel like a real event. This home-made approach will capture the games sense of play and spontaneity. It will also add to its viral appeal. The Tube Races will be shot with Toshiba camcorders. Toshiba advertisements (Toshiba - Innovation is a journey...) will backdrop the carriages that the games are played.

One player per team will shoot the footage. With two teams there will be two cameras and two viewpoints. By shooting past and towards each other it creates a chance for product placement. Both movies will be uploaded onto video hosting sites alongside each other. One of the teams would have won victoriously, the other lost, with a slight feeling of embarrassment. Each game will be shot in one take so the action is full and fluid. The different angles can be re-watched and compared on You Tube. Multiple virals will be played, shot and uploaded to help document and promote this new craze.

These playful viral’s will show that there is fun is to be had on every journey regardless of the destination.
