National Association of Construction Auditors (NACA) is pleasedto appoint Mr. Nauman Rauf as their Middle East and Asiarepresentative for the purpose of recruiting new members andestablishing local chapter(s).

Midlothian, VA

The National Association of Construction Auditors (NACA) is pleased toappoint Mr. Nauman Rauf as their Middle East and Asia representative forthe purpose of recruiting new members and establishing local chapter(s).

“We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nauman Rauf,”comments NACA Chairman & Founder, Brian Felix, “The Middle Eastern andAsian regions represent huge growth potential for our organization.”

The National Association of Construction Auditors (NACA) was created toenhance the control environment related to construction projects, byaddressing the needs of:

1. those auditors/accountants who spend a significant amount of theirefforts auditing and/or controlling construction projects; and

2. Owner construction/facilities management personnel who want toimprove their knowledge base of contracts and process controls resultingin their construction projects being better managed and controlled; and

3. Project Managers, construction management personnel, architects, andowners representatives who want to improve their knowledge base ofprocess controls, thereby improving the overall product delivered totheir customers.

“Our vision,” explains Mr. Felix “is to bring all the project team memberstogether to exchange knowledge and ideas to improve the overall controlenvironment for the Owners, delivering them greater value.

Auditors/accountants can improve by increasing their knowledge of theconstruction, architecture, and engineering disciplines; while facilitiesdevelopment/management and construction management personnel (ProjectManagers/Cost Engineers/Project Accountants) can improve their productby increasing their understanding of project cost controls.”

As stated on their website (http://www.thenaca.org), the NACA missionis to unite those individuals and be recognized as the authority onconstruction project controls by:

Providing a forum through which the Association’s members can meet toexchange ideas and share insight into each others related area ofexpertise.Providing members with the resources, information, and leadership thatenable them to provide valuable services in the highest professionalmanner to benefit the public as well as employers and clients.Developing and coordinating programs dedicated to the purpose ofimproving professional standards of construction auditors.Enhancing the role and promoting the image of the construction auditorand construction control professionals.Providing the professional Certified Construction Auditor (CCA)designation to instill confidence in employers and clients when theysecure the services of a professional construction auditor.Providing the Construction Control Professional (CCP) designation toincrease the confidence in customers that they will receive the best valuewhen they secure the services of a contractor/construction manager.

An Advisory Board has been established by the National Association ofConstruction Auditors to seek out experts in the fields of auditing,construction management, real estate development, architecture, andengineering to help serve the association and its members by providingexpert counsel and guidance.

The NACA grants the designation of Certified Construction Auditor (CCA)and Construction Control Professional (CCP) to the individuals with theexpertise in these areas. The National Association of Construction Auditors iscommitted to providing resources, information, and leadership for NACAmembers, their clients, and the public to ensure the highest standard ofconstruction controls possible.

For a limited period of time, the National Association of ConstructionAuditors (NACA) is currently accepting applications under the grandfatheringprovision for the Certified Construction Auditor (CCA) and ConstructionControl Professional (CCP) designations, setting the standard in these fields(http://www.thenaca.org). The provisions are a pointbased systembased upon education, training, and experience.
