What is NAC?What is NAC?

NAC is a national advertising sales organization specializing in salesrelated to “spoken word” media for radio, internet audio and video, texting and more.

We supplement existing sales forces and rep. firms in a way that complements their efforts, while concentrating on your unsold or undersold inventory for maximum rate and sell-out percentage.

We target new emerging businesses with annual revenue streams of $10 million or more. The companies we target may not be currently represented by an agency and our relationships are formed directly with the CEO/COO or Exec VP level, all of whom are a major force in the strategic media decisions.

Most companies we bring in have not advertised on a regional or national radio medium. Our goal is to bring them into the medium on a profitable, sustainable basis through a winning partnership with nationally syndicated personality radio programs.

Supply & DemandSupply & Demand

NAC works with your existing sales organization and helps to put pressure on your inventory, increasing rates across the board on all advertising sales.

Your sales rates increase as do your sales commissions and the profitability of your entire sales program.

This can be a true Win-Win-Win scenario as we sell the unsold inventory and drive the rate higher at the same time - creating a supply and demand dynamic. NACNAC

NAC’s Performance for Rate Growth Over Five Years

All national radio programmers often have unsold or under-valued inventory that, if not addressed, is lost, bonused, or, just as bad, sold at remnant rates, and does not reflect the true value that can be achieved for your program.

NAC has designed an effective program that allows our consultants to work with your unsold and under-valued inventory, allowing us to obtain the maximum price the market will bear. Benefit from our experienced team and securely increase your position through increased pressure on rate and sell-out percentage.

Relationship SellingRelationship SellingOur consultants help to build profound relationships between the potential advertiser and the program. Often, advertisers’ CEOs and advertising decision makers become an integral part of the show as their companies become “cornerstone sponsors”. We look for advertisers that can make the right fit with a host, and have a genuine affinity for the show, creating a business relationship between the show and the sponsor, which elevates both in an elegant way. These relationships result in longer contracts and more renewals (typically 3 to 5 years or more) than traditional advertising clients. These clients are often also extremely loyal and resilient when it comes to controversy.

Building Deep Relationships with clients is key at NAC. From its inception, the crux of NAC was forming special relationships with CEOs/COOs and Exec VPs and becoming committed partners on their journey towards national market share.

We create techniques to strengthen the importance of prospects recognizing the NAC team and you as experts, a team who can help solve their problems, bringing them revenues that result in renewals – which is our true definition of success. Bringing all of the elements together is critical:  the right “Best in Breed” advertiser, relationship, sales process, and expertise.  This process results in loyal long-term relationship advertising.

How We Do ItHow We Do It

National Sales AssociatesNational Sales Associates

• NAC has recruited and trained a nationwide team of sales professionals.

• These professionals are spread across the country and have a presence in every major market.

• Their expertise is the “spoken word” format. They understand the special bond that talk show hosts can have with their audience, be it a shared ideology or a common interest in a product or service.

• Audiences identify with the host and trust the host’s recommendations as if they were a neighbor or old friend. Our sales associates understand this effect and maximize this reality for greater sales success.

NAC has shown a decisive increase year by year in pre-sold inventory for the upcoming year (also known as upfronts).

The Consultant SaleThe Consultant Sale

Radio media sales are more than just getting a buyer to purchase an ad on a show. Our account executives are trained as sales consultants, they work to match a specific product or service with a particular show or type of shows.

While this methodology is a considerably slower process (anywhere from 3 months to 1 year), it yields much better results in the long run. Ad buyers see our sales representatives as consultants, not just salespeople, thus they tend to stay in programs longer, communicate what works and what doesn’t work with our team collaboratively, and commonly accept the advice of their NAC representative.

This approach to sales also allows our associates to introduce new shows as new opportunities - once a successful track record has been established, there is no limit to the success.

ProceduresProcedures

Proven Results and ProceduresProven Results and Procedures

Working with multiple sales associates, rep. firms, agencies, and other in-house sales organizations has required NAC to develop a policy of strict guidelines to protect all salespeople and all organizations from overlapping clients, protection of existing accounts, and proper accounting procedures.

We have developed these procedures over years of hands-on experience and practical interactions, evolving as needs and circumstances dictate. Many of these procedures are NAC proprietary systems including: Potential Client Lists, New Client Tracking System (which allows management to see on-line where a client is in the pipeline and pre-determine the degree of success with this client), Long Term Client Evaluation, and other systems.

Our goal is to be able to work with any existing sales organization in a mutually beneficial and profitable arrangement that maximizes both rate pressure and sell-out percentage for the program.
