changed the expectations of internet users. The internet is now interactive and
communication is expected to be two way.
Unifyer was created as a web based communication tool with the addition of
social networking components to allow group networking and collaboration.
UNDERSTANDING SOCIAL MEDIA
There was an increasing need for communication beyond e-mail and Unifyer

9. These networked conversations are enabling powerful new forms of social
organization and knowledge exchange to emerge.
95. We are waking up and linking to each other. We are watching. But we

Collectively these churches can assist and challenge one another to change the
way ministry is done. Each church has an area where they need help and an area
where they can help another church. The end result should be more effectiveand efficient ministry at local churches across the country.
How do we make it happen?

• Who provides content?Content
• How do we communicateand cast vision?Promotion
NAB church leaders vs Open Registration• Only allowing NAB church leaders, allows for a feeling of exclusivity, potentially adding value to the NAB membership.
UNIFYER STRATEGY
• Who has access?Data
adding value to the NAB membership.• Open Registration allows for the network to expand more rapidly and extends the potential reach of the community as well as creating potential new interest in NAB events and membership.
Pre-load users vs. create new accounts• Pre-loading users allows for ease of adoption and creates a sense of value immediately.
• Asking everyone to create new accounts will mean that the community consist only individuals that have opted in and are therefore more engaged.
Is there any database integration?• Integrating databases will allow for us to share information back to you such as
Name, Title, and Church. Changes in this information could become valuable information for offering NAB membership and services to pastors when they change position.
VJust like any conference, the key to success of the community is content. The most important thing to do is identify content sources in each key area.
