It is a matter of great pride for all of us that, NAARRI completed 40 years of its yeomen service to the Indian Industry and academia during November 2016.

On this momentous occasion, NAARRI places on record its appreciation and sincere thanks to its founder father Dr. V. K. Iya and all those doyens of Isotope programme whose vision, guidance and leadership made NAARRI what it is today. Needless to mention, the support and co-operation we have been receiving from our esteemed members.

To commemorate this occasion, the executive committee has lined up a series of technical programmes and also publication of a book on “Safety, Security and Regulations in Handling Radiation Sources.”

Publication and release of the Book on “Safety, security and regulations in handling radiation source”

The long felt need for bringing out a book on "Safety, Security and Regulation in Handling Radiation Sources" was taken up by the executive committee during this period.

The book was released during a glittering function held at BARC training school hostel, Anushaktinagar by Dr. Sekhar Basu, Chairman, AEC and Secretary to Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

Shri S.A. Bhardwaj, Chairman, AERB, Shri K. N. Vyas, Director, BARC and Shri S. K. Sharma CMD of NPCIL were also present on the occasion.
