29 th September 2020 BRIEF REPORT ON PROMOTING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE THROUGH ENRICHED KNOWLEDGE AND INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE Webinar on “Best Practices webinar – Promoting Academic Excellence Through Enriched Knowledge and Industrial Exposure”, jointly organized by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and association with B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka was held on 29 th September 2020, through video conferencing using Cisco Meet platform. The Webinar was organized with the aim of taking initiatives to reach out the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for quality improvements and quality sustenance and to propagate the knowledge on latest procedures involved in Best Practices process. More than 132 participants comprising a blend of Academicians, Professors, Principals, IQAC Coordinators from various institutions across the country attended the Webinar. The Webinar started at 11.00 am with the Welcome Address delivered by Dr. Devender Kawday, Deputy Adviser, NAAC.

ENRICHED KNOWLEDGE AND INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE

Webinar on “Best Practices webinar – Promoting Academic Excellence Through Enriched Knowledge and Industrial Exposure”, jointly organized by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and association with B.M.S. Muralidhara, Vice-Principal, Dr. Samita Maitra, Dean Academic, Dr. H. S. Guruprasad, Dean Student Affairs, Dr. S. Jayanthi, Dean First Year, Dr. Mangala Keshava, Director, IQAC from B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Initially, Dr. B. V. Ravishankar, Principal, B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka, has made glance on contents of the presentation and introduction to the college.

Secondly, Dr. Mangala Keshava, Director, IQAC from B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka, has illustrated the Best practices adopted by the Institution in an elaborative way.

The Question and Answer Session was moderated by Dr. Devender Kawday, Deputy Adviser, NAAC and queries raised by participants regarding various aspects were addressed by the Resource Persons and from NAAC as well.

The program convener, Dr. Devender Kawday Deputy Adviser and Shri. H.V. Chandrashekhar Admin Consultant was supported, guided and helped for organizing the webinar making it successful. From ICT Side, Prof Amiya Kumar Rath, Adviser, NAAC and Mr. Samuel System Analyst, NAAC took good initiatives to successfully conduct the webinar. Dr. K. R.
