Our contracting partner in France is AVIS. Upon delivery of your car at the Airport in Paris, you will be asked to sign the rental contract. XXXX Travel is acting only as an intermediary and the customer must sign the actual contract on the spot before the rental is considered valid. In your rental XXXX Travel has included the following insurances: CDW: Collision Damage Waiver – Deductible Euro1,300.

THW: Theft Waiver

One Driver: Additional driver can be added at the time of the rental. Estimate Euro 9 per day per additional driver.

You may wish to include the so-called “Zero Deductibles” in your rental. Those are charged on the spot and can be paid only via credit card (Visa, Master Card or American Express). You should estimate Euro 28 per rental day for a “Zero Deductible”-contract. XXXX Travel is not responsible for any charges that have been agreed on the spot between you and AVIS. Please note: No insurance will cover for damages caused by infringement of the traffic law, as well as damages to tires, mirrors, windscreens, car parts underneath the vehicle and in the cabin.

There is a One Way Fee involved in your rental. The fee is Euro 85.00 (incl. taxes) and will be charged directly to your credit card. Additional information about driving in France: The minimum age of driving in France is 21 years of age and you must hold a driver’s license that has been valid for minimum 1 year. REMEMBER: An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required and does not replace your valid U.S. driver’s license, which you must present to rent the car. XXXX Travel cannot be held responsible if car rental is denied on the spot due to lack of holding an IDP and presenting your U.S. driver’s license.
