The event started off with the ‘Panchanga Shravana’, the reading of the almanac by Sanskrit scholar Venkoba Rao. This was followed by a dance by two students, Apsara and Archita. Later the treasurer of the fund, V. Satyanarayan Rao, felicitated the dancers.
