NAVIGATE IN BRIDGE

Click the Folders tabto display the Folderspanel

Click a folder todisplay its contents inthe Content panel

Click the Go Backbutton to step backthrough the mostrecent folders viewed

Click the Go Forwardbutton to step forwardthrough the mostrecent folders viewed


NAVIGATE IN BRIDGE (CONTINUED)

On the Reveal Recent File or Go to Recent Folder menu, you can click theReveal All Recent Files option to display thumbnails of recently viewed files


THE PATH BAR

The Path bar in the Bridge toolbar displays the sequence of parent folders inwhich the current folder is nested


MINI BRIDGE

The Mini Bridge panel menucontains options for displayingand hiding the Navigation podand the toolbar


PREVIEWS

To preview multiple thumbnails,right-click a thumbnail and chooseReview Mode from the context menu

Press Spacebar to display a full-screen preview of a selectedthumbnail

Press Esc to exit Review Mode orthe full-screen preview


DRAG A THUMBNAIL

Drag a thumbnail fromMini Bridge into an opendocument to have thatimage appear as a newlayer in the document


CONFIGURE PANELS

To resize either side panel in the Bridge window, drag itsvertical gripper bar to the left or right

To close a panel, right-click its paneltab to display a context menu andchoose Close [panel name], or, fromthe Window menu, choose thepanel name.

To display a closed panel, right-clickany panel name; then, from thecontext menu, choose the panel tobe opened


APPLY STAR RATINGS

To assign a star rating to a thumbnail, clickthe thumbnail to select it, and then click thecorresponding dot below the image

To assign a star rating in thePreview panel, right-click thepreview image, and choose a ratingfrom the context menu


ADD KEYWORDS

To create a new category in theKeywords panel, click the NewKeyword button, then enter a name

To create a subkeyword within aselected category, click the NewSub Keyword button, then enter adescriptive word

To assign a keyword or subkeywordto a thumbnail, select the thumbnail,and then check a box


FILTER USING KEYWORDS

In the Filter panel, expand a datacategory, such as Ratings orKeywords, then select a criterion tofilter out all the thumbnails that don’tmatch that criterion


FIND DIALOG BOX

In the Find dialog box, from the Look In menu, choose a folder to be searched Choose from the Criteria menus and enter criteria Click the + or – button to add or remove lines of criteria


SMART COLLECTIONS

The results from the Find dialog box search will display in the Content panel Click the Save As Smart Collection button to create a new Smart Collection


STACKS

Select multiple thumbnails; press Command/Ctrl+G to group them into a stack


STACKS (CONTINUED)

To expand a stack and display allthe thumbnails it contains, click thestack number

To collapse a stack, click the stacknumber again

To add a thumbnail to a stack, dragit onto the closed or expanded stack

To remove a thumbnail from astack, expand the stack, then drag athumbnail out of the stack
