See what the world of Sikhi has to offer in a loving and embracing environment at SYA’s 20th AnnualSummer Camp. Join over 300 fellow youth and adults from all over Australia on a fun, yet spiritualjourney of Sikhi. There is something for everyone no matter what your age or understanding of Sikhi.

A special curriculum focusedon learning the ABCs of Sikhiin a fun, entertaining & nurturinglearning environment.

Amazing races, drama productions& special kirtan sessions by Dya Singh.

Adventure activities are organisedevery afternoon and include sailing,swimming, canoeing, abseiling, ropecourses, basketball and soccer-all supervised by trained staff.

Each participant is allocateda Jatha for the week – taking part in daily competitions, challenges and activities(not to mention a bit of sewa).

Participants are encouraged tomeet, share and grow with othersof their own age and learn abouttheir religion and heritage.There are sporting & dramacompetitions, debates/discussionsand cultural activities to providean opportunity for all youth todemonstrate their skills, passionsand talent!Interactive workshops, usingmultimedia & experiential learning,focused on daily life as a youngAussie Sikh and how to conductyour life to maximise your potential.

A series of challenging and engaging seminars to learnmore about Gurbani, gain adeeper understanding of Sikhi,our history and learn what itmeans to live as a Sikh intoday’s world.

Daily discussion groups with other adults on interesting andcontemporary topics.

Santhiya classes available to helpyou to improve your paath.

A team of facilitators share theirknowledge, inspiration and love for Sikhi through workshops, multimedia presentations andopen discussions.

As in the past, we have puttogether a team of experiencedfacilitators who will share theirknowledge, inspiration and lovefor Sikhi through workshops,multimedia presentations,activities and open discussions.

Daily Amrit Vela, Nitnem, Kirtan and Gurbani Vichar bonds allthe participants with the beautiful vibrations of the Sadh Sangat.English Gutkas are provided and youth leaders ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn amongst their peers.

All our facilitators maintain a relaxed, non-judgementalenvironment where questions & dialogue are encouraged.While the main medium is English, all facilitators speakboth English and Punjabi.
