This chart shows how often the participants purchase magazines. The most popular vote was once a week, and the least popular was two or more times a month. Also, the pie chart shows that a percentage of around 20% never buy magazines, I believe this is because of e-media as a lot of people now have access to online accounts of magazines and articles therefore they do not need the hard copy.

This chart shows the aspects that influences people into buying magazines. By these results, I can tell that a majority of people purchase them for the design of the front cover or main story. Using this information I will try to personalise the front cover for the target audience’s enjoyment and involve a controversial main story.

Evaluation

• From these results, I can evaluate who my target audience is going to be. My products will be targeted towards both genders between the ages 17-24. The genre I have chosen to do is grime, I thought hard about this choice and narrowed it down to hip-hop or grime; according to my response, I chose grime. As the most popular time someone buys a magazine is once a week, I will aim to make my product a weekly magazine too. To accompany this, I will add a controversial headline to interest potential buyers and also try to involve an exciting layout on the front page to make my product stand out.
