The form of the bedroom was inspired by the move-ment of the gentle wave of the river. The mood used for the design is relaxation. Designer tries to pro-vide the occupant with comfortable, quite, relaxing, confident and romantic feeling. The space intergrates art into architecture for the sustainability in Cambodia in 21st century, before 1000years, that was the art . After an other 1000 years, the architecture was unified with the earth. For 1000 years, is eternal loop, and is variable cot-tages for the human activities again and again. And the architecture elements had the aging and the maintainance by local material and local people for many generation.

Inspiration of cambodia belief in flow of life, re-born after their dead. The flow is never end. The program is inspired from the daily life; we born to learn and when we works, and the end of the day we got the product. The main idea is to remind people that life is important and we should value it every second we have.

In the early design process, the building functions was derived from a bubble diagram and target customers. Each spaces are dierent fromeach other depending on their own fuction. Color is very important in dierentiate the space and it was painted base on the caracteristic of thespace. For instant, we tried to introduce light attractive color for the retailstore since it is mostly visit by women. The coee shop, is an open airstore with a darker color which is discribe as the romance feeling.

How can Asia accommodate two thirds of the world population in the next 50 years when more than half of the total population will be living in urban areas? Particularly, in ASEAN countries, the projec-tion of urbanization is upward. High density lack of green space and urban sprawl wil put a great pres-sure on the main cities in each of the countries. Likely, Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia, will be facing the same problems. “Re-Thinking Urban Housing” will offer better alternative liv-ing units in dense cities. Many amenities such as inviting communal spaces, vertical urban farms, interactive corridors, mini-mart and sky park, are proposed to encourage social interac-tion, leisure, recreation and to generate some profit. Therefore, “Re-Thinking Urban Housing” is the most visionary solution to those afore-mentioned challenges of rapic urbanization in Phnom Penh and the ASEAN country as a whole.

This Projecting is about urban design which explores the concep-tual future and physical extension of Phnom Penh onto the strip of land and highway between the wetlands and river connecting Phnom Penh to Ta Khmao. On the map at the left side is the analysis on the existing school, market, wetland, vegetation and alot more between Phnom Penh and Ta Khmao on the strip of land between Tompum Lake and the Basaac River along National Highway 2. In my opinion the existing site does not have a proper planning strategy; which can couse a lots of problem, such as poor working conditions, negative environmental and traffic congestion. I define that there is not enough green space, improper habitation as: a house which just passed by without any emotional attached that refer to communal space, activities between neigh borhood and daily necessity should be included to make the building more active. Poor working condition required a better of both architecture and environment such as open green area near the working zone in order to recharge both the physical and mental strength of the workers for a better output and health. Architecture of the factory should be well designed by maximizing the required amount of fresh air and light to the building. Working area should be clear and clean based on the safty code. While most of the factories dispose of their waste into the river that contain poisoning chemical, result-ing in water pollution, dead marine life and affect people who use this polluted water for fishing and working the polluted water. To overcome that problem, all the disposed wast must be discharge into the artificial pound for the purification. After a few steps treat-ment, the purified water discharge in two line; one directly to the river, another one go to the other artificial pound to store and share for public use.

The gallery design is one of the community area which can use as public. It’s design raise from the ground, the concept is intent to get cross ventilation and get the view of Bassac River. The function of the ground floor serve as cmmunal space, up to the next floor using as exhibition hall, and the second floor use as galler which can be public and private. To access from one floor to another floor using ramp instead of stair, the reason because I want this gal-ler can serve for all people such as disable people. Along the way go up I had design the hanging picture which hang from the ceiling so people can walk on the ramp and enjoy thepainting along their way.

Design a shading structure which provides shade from direct sunlight from 10 am to 2 pm. This struc-ture must rely upon a textile of your choice and movement – your structures must slide, stack, fold, twist or otherwise move to accomodate the chang-ing position of the sun. So in my design i inspire the shade from cyclo’s shading which is flexible and can be folding off we if we need sunlight and folding on if we want avoid the sunlight. and also in this design it can use as walk way and can be a shelter according to the need.

The agricultural sector performed poorly because of the adverse weather conditions. In one year people can harvest 2 to 3 time if it has enough water sup-pliment. so if in the future the city become flood-ing I have an idea of designing the floating farm, So People can farm on the platform have a watersys-tem which can let the water flow into the rice field so we don’t need to think about not enough water anymore and we can harvest as much as we can . For the concept desing, I have inspired from lotus leaf which in circle shape, floating on the water I transform it into a circle plateform support by gallon which allow it float.
