Zainab’s music career began at the age of 17, she always had a interest in music since her early years in school. During school she always played the star in musicals from Nancy to grease and performance was en-joyed by the audience greatly. As her par-ents Mrs & Mr Masood recalled Zainab there daughter was always a ‘singing cheerful child’ and the first song that zainab sang was ‘eternal flame’ from her dads tapes. Zainab was always at parties and weddings that was when zainab’s parent thought of sending her for singing lesson once a week as she began shine. When zainab started secondary school she participated in talent shows and always won first place from that her confidence began to increase. She always had support from her family and friends and her friends were the ones that secretly filled in a ap-plication for the x factor. After a couple of months Zainab received letter through the post informing her of date and time of the audition she was extremely surprised. Zainab was angry with her friends for not telling her that they have completed application form for the x factor audition. But she then agreed to do the audience with the support of her friends and family. When we asked Zainab about her first auidition she replied ‘ I was extremely nerv-ous and did not think I will be selected’. She was selected immediately at her first audi-tion. She kept on giving outstanding per-formance at each stage of the x factor. It was tough time at the finale where there was choice between Zainab and Jason who are extremely good singers. Zainab’s inspiration is comes from Beyonce and Rhianna. Zainab won the fi-nale with over 60,000 votes. Zainab shock and happy as she would never win. After she won the x factor she released her first single called ‘I’m a star on earth’ which sold over 20 millon copies and was at no1 for over 6 weeks from the first week of re-lease. Zainab owes her success all to her family and friends as she would not be popstar without them. After the success of her first single she released further few al-

She has won 5 grammy awards, 2 Brit for best upcom-ing female artist and best female artist.Now Zainab is opening her own music academy for children from a less fortu-nate background and giving them a op-potunit to sing. Zainab has succsefully bagged a recoring deal with American record-ing company called Big Bros. Recent-ly Zainab has released a new single called “American boy’ which is currently number 1 is the US charts. America is welcoming Zainab with open hands like previous popstars from the Uk Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys. Zainab future plans are to become a universal succesful arists. And hopefully become a role mo-dle to young teenage girls and give them inspiration to become successful
