my mother’s sister

is an underground cavern in which the flickering flames of memorial candles are reflected in an infinity of tiny lights, while the names of the children who perished are being read continuously.

Memorialul copiilor este o cavernă subterană în care flăcările pâlpâitoare ale lumânărilor sunt reflectate într-o infinitate de lumini mici, în timp ce numele copiilor care au pierit sunt citite continuu.

one and a half million Jewish children who perished in Auschwitz.

Dedic această prezentare, cu toată dragostea , mamei mele şi în memoria luiSara,sora ei, una din cele un milion şi jumătate de copii evrei care au pierit la Auschwitz.

אני מקדישה את המצגת עם כל אהבתי לאמי ולזכרה של דודתי,

שרה, אחת ממיליון וחצי הילדים היהודים שנספו באושוויץ.

Szeretettel dedikálom ezt a bemutatót anyukámnak, és a Sara emlékére , egyik a másfél millió zsidó gyerekek közul akiket meg öltek Auschwitzban .Anyukám és a huga Sarika a háború előtt.
