DESCRIPTION
My life goals project for class 1101
Citation preview
I’ve always had fun taking apart
computers and putting them
together as a child. I also had an
artistic side because I loved making
things. In high school at an elective
fair is where I learned about a Web
Design class. My mom was trying
to start her own business, and
I figured enrolling in this class
would be a great way to help
her so I can start her website.
When I enrolled in the class I
ended up loving it and decided
that Graphic Design is the career
I want to pursue.
At a magazine an art director would work to create the specific look and feel of the
entire magazine, ensuring there’s a unified visual look throughout. If you notice that
certain magazines maintain different types of “looks” -- with certain layouts and certain
types of images -- you’re picking up on the work of the art director.

Film Editor Music
My second job; plan B, is to edit films from things such as commercials, to animated comedies, or working with Dream Works or Pixar. When my mother gave me my mac I started playing around with it and I came across the software iMovie. I recorded a video of my friend playing basketball and started editing it just for fun using iMovie. My video came out great being that it was the first video I ever edited. I presented my senior project last year I designed a website and edited a video and received many compliments, I knew for sure after that, film editing is something I would like to get into.

I want to accomplish this goal
in order to be successful in
life. To make this happen I
have to stay motivated and
keep working through all the
obstacles that come with
college. I now attend
Valdosta State University; I
plan to transfer to another
college soon. Both of my
parents didn’t finish college
their first run, and I would
like to make that change and
graduate the first time so I
wouldn’t have to go back to
school later to try to get a
better job.

Steps
ü Go to college
§ Complete all years
§ Graduate
My family and I have lost touch
over the past few years, and my goal
right now is to fix it. When I was
seven my parents divorced and ever
since then the relationship between
my father and I wasn’t the same.
My goal is to change that and try
spending time with him more. I
have a younger brother and sister
that lives with him that look up to
me, but I don’t spend enough time
with them. To accomplish this I
need to start calling them more
often and making plans to see them
when I go home. I would like to
complete this goal by the end of the
summer.
My fourth goal is to make a positive
difference in the world. I’ve always
had a problem with litter; every time I
see it I always pick it up and throw it
away. I would like to join an
organization where I could help to
clean the community. In order to
make this happen I have to look
online to find organizations to join. I
plan to complete this goal within the
next few years. A few hurdles in the
way are joining organizations through
this school where you need a certain
GPA. So to overcome this I have to
work even harder to bring up my
grades.
Steps 1. Search for an
organization to join 2. Bring up GPA if
organization is part of campus
3. Find time and transportation
Most common litter offenders: ü Men between 18-34 years ü Smokers ü People who eat at Fast Food
places at least 2x per week ü Drives more than 50
miles/day ü People who go out for
entertainments at least 1x per week
Throughout my life my mom has
been sheltering me and taking care of
me through anything, and although
I’m not complaining I would like to
become more independent. To do this
I plan to start over the summer by
taking a class at KSU and getting a job
to make money, to be able to pay for a
few things on my own. Next year of
college I plan to do work study to help
with my tuition. This goal will
probably take about a year, because it’s
going to take awhile for me to prove to
my mother that I am responsible
enough.
Steps 1. Get a job 2. Save money to start
paying for things on my own
