My last vacationsMy last vacations

Bruno is from Italy he went on holidays with his father last winterWe went to Aspen Colorado, it is a ski resort town where you can practice winter sports and meet interesting people from all over the world.

We arrived to Denver’s airport at 11:00 am. Then, we got the Colorado Express Mountain and we traveled for an hour to Copper Mountain Resort, where we look for accommodation. As soon as we finished the check in, we took a long rest, because we didn’t sleep during the flight, so we were really tired. When I woke up my father was watching TV. Then we ordered room service, we talk for a while and finally, we went to sleep.

The next day, we had to wear winter clothes, glasses and some boots in order to take skiing lessons. That morning, we met Rebeca, who was our instructor during the days we spent in Aspen. She was very patient with us, and we became good friends, and we had a great time, something that a really like about her, is the fact that while we were taking our lesson she was joking all the time. We learnt a lot about the different ski techniques, and she gave us a lot of information about the main landmarks in Aspen. We spent four incredible days.

Did I enjoy my vacation? Fantastic. 10 points we had a great time, and my father was happy while we were skiing.

Natasha is from The USA she went on holidays with her mother last summerWe went the beautiful and historical city of Rome where you can visit a lot of amazing places about Roman culture.

We arrived at Rome´s airport about 11:00 p.m. And as soon as we got accommodation we went to sleep. The next day we had breakfast at 7:00 o’clock and my mother and I ate a lot because we didn’t have dinner last night, and while we were eating the famous Italian pasta we met a girl from the USA, so we introduced each other and then we decided to go sight-seeing together. Rome is an interesting city but there is a huge inconvenient with this place, it is spread out. It’s so spread out, in fact, that if you don’t get used to using the bus and metro you’ll miss out on half the things there are to do and see in Rome, and even though, we were wearing jeans, glasses and tennis shoes at the end of the day we were really exhausted.

Did I enjoy my vacation? It was very good 9 points we had a great time. And for the first time, my mother wasn’t complaining about the food.
