acting with the most ease when falls in the balanced, fair, and somewhat emotionally detached Libra. Essentially, one of the most flexible signs provides the most beneficial thriving environment to the quite inflexible and stringent planet! On the first glance it can appear as somewhat curious dichotomy, but a deeper look into the nature of relationships helps us to understand the significance of this interconnection. The integral component of the fulfilling relationships is a combination of balance and mutual satisfaction (Libra) with clearly defined boundaries and ability to maintain control of the desired relationship dynamics (Saturn).

Full moon in Libra illuminates and brings into a more precise focus the structural health of our relationships. Imagine your life as a house with all your relationships representing different rooms: some might be very big and important, the others can be small and insignificant, but the commonality is that all these rooms have been contracted on top of the previously laid foundation. The structural integrity of our “relationships- rooms” and of the whole “life-house”

Relationships Illuminated

Full Moon in

Libra: April 19, 2019 was the full Libra moon. What is the significance of this event, and why health of our relationships comes to the forefront at this time?

Libra, the “scale”, rules our internal balance expressed as our relationships to Self and as dynamics of our relationships to others, be that lovers or co-workers. Our strict but fair life teacher, old sage Saturn, is exalted in Libra, meaning that the planet responsible for structures, control and setting boundaries is

is dependent on the strength of this foundation. But how do we know if our foundation is sound? Libra, the ruling planet of Venus, is giving a hint…Getting in touch with our Venus through Libra lunation helps us understand our core values that, indeed, are the building blocks of our lives’ foundations. Full Moon in Libra is auspicious time to assess our values and to clearly understand the integral parts of our value systems that are non-negotiable (Saturn) and can potentially become deal breakers in relationships and the parts that still carry importance, but are more flexible and can be negotiated (Libra). The question we need to ask ourselves now is: are our relationships congruent with our values, do they allow us to lead meaningful lives? My advice to everyone who wants to enter a new relationship or in the process of re-evaluating the existing relationship is to use this time for getting in touch with your core values with all honesty and sincerity, and for reviewing how and if your past and/or current relationships have been contributing your value-based life.

Another very important lesson of Libra is an ability to not automatically pass judgements about our partners and not identify a “right” or “wrong” party in the conflict, but learn to manage the situation in a way that enhances relationship and creates more enjoyable and meaningful life for both partners. The eternal interplay of flexibility and boundaries, illuminated by the full Libra moon, helps us to understand that we cannot control our partners’ behaviors, but instead can manage the way we act and react to the partners’ actions, while clearly defining what is acceptable and what is not acceptable in the relationship (boundaries). Connecting with Libra’ fairness and desire for finding the common grounds helps us to

achieve relationship dynamic that turns into mutual positive regard and appreciation of the partner based on cultivation of compassionate and forgiving attitude. Saturn aspect of April’s full moon helps us to evaluate some of the rigid standards and perceptions that we apply to relationships. Saturnian quality of accepting reality “as is” helps us to become more active observers and evaluators of erroneous reconceived attitudes and long-standing assumptions that can contribute to the relationship distress.

This time illuminates the roots of pain and disappointments we experience in the relationships, especially if these problems are persistent in our lives and keep playing out in various relationships. These issues are often related to the deeply imbedded, in many cases subconscious, patterns that we bring from our childhoods, and, possibly, from families’ transgenerational pain bodies. This full moon occurs in a karmic 29 degree of completion, with the Sabian symbology of passing knowledge from generation to generation. Now the Universe gives us a chance to create a new relationship paradigm by healing dysfunctional transgenerational relationship patterns while bringing forth to the new generations the beneficial aspects of existing relationships. In our next conversation we will discuss some useful tools that can help us to start a journey on the path of achieving fulfilling and joyous relationships!

According to energy healer and author Donna Eden, our bodies are “lattice works of force fields,” in which “energy is the infrastructure.” But what happens when that infrastructure is stressed, exhausted, depressed, and filled with anxious thoughts, resulting in illness? To support wellness inside and out, healing energy tools can help foster physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Thankfully, we have an abundance of healing energy tools, from pyramids to crystals, to energy healing stones to tuning forks. Whichever modality you or your energy healing professional work with, all are designed to optimize our wellness and heal what ails us.

Energy healing, or energy medicine, can be defined as any healing work designed to balance and restore our energetic channels. Similar to our circulatory system, which can have negative impacts on our health if not running smoothly, our energetic field also has a flow. If that flow is blocked, our energy fields can lead to emotional, spiritual, and soul pain.

Also similar to our physical body, energy carries its own anatomy — aura, meridians, and chakras. The balance for optimum energetic functioning leads to a sense of calm, equilibrium, and peace. To help achieve this balance, energy healers have a veritable energy healing toolkit at their fingertips. These range from ones steeped in ancient healing traditions, the natural world, and those derived from modern technology.

Healing stones and crystals are placed along locations, or meridians, on the body to help increase positive

energy flow and support for specific health concerns. Out of the hundreds used in this practice, below are a few of the more commonly used energy healing stones and their healing properties:

• Amethyst: Beneficial for the intestines, calm, and decision-making• Agate: Grounding, stability, and increases confidence• Lapis Lazuli: Wisdom, self-awareness, and spiritual enlightenment• Turquoise: Bridge between heaven and earth; highest spiritual potential• Carnelian: Creativity and vitality• Jasper: Joy and release from stress

In addition to healing stones, the natural world offers many other energetic tools, such as sage, grasses, feathers, the elements, light, and color:

• Sage: A purifying herb, sage is commonly burned or turned into a smudging tool for a variety of healing purposes, from spatial cleansing, to spiritual, emotional, and in Native American rituals. White sage is

considered to be the purest form of sage and used for spiritual purification. Desert sage is valued for its medicinal properties including antioxidants, anti-fungal, antiseptic, and astringent. • Cedar: Mostly used in the Pacific Northwest, red cedar is burned as a prayer offering, as well as a purification tool. Referred to as a “tree of life,” indigenous people incorporated it into many aspects of their lives, from building, to medicine, to sweat lodges and baths designed to cleanse the entire energetic system.

• Sweetgrass: Dried and braided before burning, sweetgrass makes the healing process a sweet one with its vanilla scent. The aromatic essence is thought to attract positive energy, people, and as a purification tool. • Feathers or Feather Fans: Used in conjunction with smudging of incense, sage, herbs, or grasses, feathers represent duality and balance. According to

Professor Tom Bacig, Morse Alumni Distinguished Teaching Professor of Cultural Studies Emeritus at the University of Minnesota Duluth, “the color of the tail feather is divided into two parts, light and dark…[i]t is said that the dualism is needed along with the symbol of the eagle to keep balance in the circle of life.”

Courage isFear

Which Has Said its PrayersI’ve been working on creating and living my best; however, recently I experienced a frustrating emotional block which temporarily affected my spiritual writing and energy work.

I hit what felt like a solid wall of fear and was similar to driving a car with one foot on the gas pedal while having the other foot on an invisible brake. It’s been the process of being ready and willing to move forward while still experiencing some resistance to the new coming in.

If you are currently experiencing a block to your good, the following can help you get back on track and on schedule for your Divine Destiny:

Do what you can, where you are, with what you have:

Do something, anything, today to get started to counteract the fear or being stuck. If like me, you’ve been feeling an internal wall of resistance, start asking for help from Universal sources and your Higher Power. Fear is an illusion but can feel very powerful and discouraging. Use this famous quote by Theodore Roosevelt to stay focused on what can be done and changed right now to activate new energies to move forward.

Pray: One of the best go-to strategies that I know when feeling stuck or hopeless. Courage and success are usually only one degree of energy and thought away from any fears currently holding you back. Start shifting and changing the energy by calling on a

Power greater than you and watch to see results and miracles start happening.

Feel the fear and do it anyway: If you’re feeling emotionally stuck or fear-ridden, take small steps and go back to basics if needed to activate new directions. Continue asking for Universal help, breakthroughs, and miracle energies. Keep pushing through any discouragement or doubt so that you keep moving until a positive shift and change happens.

You don’t have what you want right now anyway, so what do you have to lose by taking a chance and trying something new?

This may sound like unusual advice, but it can help take the pressure off if you’re struggling with fear of failure, over-thinking, or hanging on too tightly to what you want. Any of these can block manifesting and by letting go and giving up, it can help you relax so that you open again to your natural knowing and guidance for next steps and Divine flow.

Hitting a wall of fear or doubt isn’t fun but can be a common part of the process as you strive for your best. It isn’t the time to give up or give in if you experience a

temporary setback or emotional block. Keep moving and keep showing up to allow your Divine best now.

on Notre Dame’s FireAstrological View

On 15 April 2019, shortly before 18:50 CEST, a fire broke out in the roof of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, causing significant damage to the building. The cathedral’s spire and roof collapsed, and considerable damage was sustained to the interior, upper walls, and windows of the church, as well as numerous works of art. However, the stone ceiling vault beneath the roof prevented most of the fire from falling into the interior of the cathedral below.

The fire at the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris has stunned the world. It was heart-breaking to watch how this cultural and historical treasure was tragically engulfed by fire sending waves of sorrow far beyond the French Capital city.

When events like this happen, they raise questions for astrologers who seek for an explanation of happenings in the stars. Very often the first question to appear is “Why now?”

Let’s start examining astrological interpretations of this event using an approximate “date of birth” of the Cathedral itself. According to the chronicler Jean de Saint-Victor, the construction of Notre-Dame began between 24 March and 25 April in 1163. The laying of the cornerstone was done in the presence of King Louis VII and Pope Alexander III.

An Astrologer Tara Green looked at an Ephemeris for the year of 1163 and found some amazing synchronicities to the construction of Notre Dame and the fire of April 15, 2019.

1. The North of the Fate of the Moon was at 19 Cancer for construction chart and 21 Cancer in 2019.2. The South Node from 1163 was exactly conjunct to present day Saturn, so in a sense this event can be viewed as karmically fated. 3. Mars, the planet of fire, was in Aries at 27 degrees in 1163 squaring Pluto, Saturn, and the Nodes and conjunct to 2019’s Uranus, the shocking awakener, in Taurus.4. Pluto was at 10 degrees Gemini in 1163 exactly conjunct to Mars now. 5. Neptune, the planet of spirituality, religion, and faith was in Sagittarius 24-28 degrees which is where the Galactic Center is, and this is exactly where Jupiter is now. Tara Green, April 16 2019

Events of far reaching destruction and change are generally driven by outer planets – Neptune, Pluto, Jupiter, Saturn, and (especially) Uranus. Timing of the events is triggered by inner planets – Mercury, Venus, Mars, Sun, and Moon.

Looking at the outer planets, using 5-degree orb or less, there is a hard aspect, a square, between a Pluto-

Saturn conjunction in Capricorn and the Sun in Aries. Saturn is the planet of karma and slow, difficult growth. Pluto is a planet of transformation, rebirth, and inevitable change. This difficult and very profound conjunction can shake the core and create transformative events. These transformative events are happening right now in personal lives of people as well as in the world in general. Since these planets are squaring the Sun in a fire sign ruled by Mars (!) with its might to strike fire directly, this configuration generates fierce fiery energy resistance.

While squares generate energy through resistance, there has to be accommodating aspects for that energy to be expressed or released. In this case I think, Uranus comes in for a rapid expression and release of that energy. Uranus is the planet most associated with sudden, disruptive change, and on April 15 its power was “favored” by the trine with the Moon, the planet closest to the Earth. The time of the event shows that Uranus was in the 8th house, the house of spiritual and mystical affairs and also the house of death and re-birth. Besides this 8th house deals with other people’s money if we take into consideration significant donations that came forth for rebuilding of the Cathedral. Uranus is in the sign of Taurus, the sign of physicality, the producer of tangible results.

Looking at other inner planets- Mercury moves direct in Aries in a conjunction with Chiron, the Wounded Healer and Teacher. Mars is in a house of religion and philosophy is in a sign of Mercury, The Messenger.

Things are reaching their culmination when the full moon is in its last degree (29) of a sign. Events that happen around this time often highlight major endings or completions. The Full Moon of April 19 was at 29 degrees Libra. Libra is an air sign, and we know what happens when fire and air are fused. Libra, the Scales, also represents seeking for truth, standing for justice and taking back all the power that has been stolen or wrongly given.

It is a little-known historical fact that below the cathedral there is an ancient pagan city. The Île-de-la-Cité on which Notre-Dame de Paris now stands was once a Gallo-Roman city known as Lutetia. When ancient artifacts (more than 1,700 of them) were excavated from beneath the site of Notre Dame, archeologists concluded that the cathedral may have been built right over remnants of a pagan temple dedicated to Jupiter and other deities.

Looking at the Sabian symbols – the placement of Uranus, the 2nd degree of Taurus, is marked by a symbol “An Electrical Storm.” It is “the cosmic power able to transform all the implications of natural existence… and the experience of power can both illuminate and shatter.” I think this symbol resonates with Mercury-Chiron conjunction – learning and healing through painful experience.

Going back to Sabian symbols to find the symbol for the Ascendant of the event: the symbol for the 6th degree Libra is “A man watches his ideals taking a concrete form before his inner vision.” What struck me in this symbol that its interpretation begins with a French proverb. French proverb (!) How many French proverbs are in those 360 symbols? I think it is the only one.

The proverb says, “What is well conceived can easily be formulated.” ….. Also, “inner vision” suggests “a clear lens through which the Mind of Man (or God) can be projected without distortion wherever needed,” gives us some more depth to the event interpretation especially in the context of the modern French and European political/historical developments.

The Sabian symbol of Saturn’s placement is “A hidden choir is singing during a religious service” (20 degree of Capricorn). The symbol’s interpretation starts by saying, “In great cathedrals the choir is normally hidden behind the altar or above the nave” in order to create an effect of music from “heaven.” (When I first read the symbol’s description, I mis-read the word “nave” and took it as “naïve” – quite an interesting coincidence.) Needless to say that Notre Dame is one of the greatest Catholic cathedrals, and for centuries its choir and organ were creating godly music and healing vibrations for millions of its visitors. To me, this symbol can also suggest that there are some “hidden forces” who orchestrated the event to appear (for the naïves) as if it started on its own or on God’s will.” The fact that the causes of the fire are still unknown can lay a foundation for new conspiracy theories.

The burning of Notre Dame occurred at the start of the Catholic Holy Week leading up to Easter. This holiday celebrates the resurrection of Christ, but originally this time of the year was a pagan holiday named after the goddess Ostara or Eostre. She was the goddess who represented the return of light, sun shine, and spring. (The words Ostara, Eostre, Easter, and East all have the same root.) So, originally Eostre was the name of the pagan festival celebrating the goddess of light which was later, as some say, “stolen” by Christian Easter. Whether this fire was deliberate or a weird accident, its astrological signature and symbolism are truly amazing!

And finally, the church is considered female as Notre Dame literally means “Our Lady,” and often referred to as “She.” Symbolically, this tragedy could mean the return of the Divine Feminine. Our Lady, the Great Mother, is the one this cathedral is dedicated to. Continued on this note, the fire can mark a beginning of a transformation of the old Patriarchal system. It can be viewed as a punishment for the corruption of the Catholic Church, the destruction of indigenous people and their cultures, for torturing and burning thousands and thousands of pagans in the inquisition – many of who were women. This event can

symbolize purging of old structures and systems and resurrecting our faith in The Mother, faith in MOTHER EARTH with its pure, simple, abundant wisdom and divine spirituality.

Our Relationship with

PlantsPlants bring life to any space because they are living organism just like we are. We are on this planet to coexist with nature not to be separated from nature. Our energy efficient buildings are so sealed up tight that they keep us separated from all that nature has to offer.

Plants provide us plenty of benefits. They expel fresh oxygen for us to breathe in, and we expel carbon dioxide for them so having live plants in your home allows you to develop quite the relationship with nature. The more you nurture your plants the more you will feel nurtured by the people in your life because what you put out into the universe, you receive back. Plus plants soften up a room, make it more inviting which in turn will make you more approachable.

Plants are guaranteed to liven up any space. Put them in to liven up your Relationships too - just add a rounded leaf plant to the back right corner of your home or business. To find the back right corner of your home or business, stand at your front door looking in and imagine your floor plan divided into 9 equal squares (imagine a tic-tac-toe laid over your floor plan). To amplify this enhancement, make it a plant that blooms flowers or pick a pot that is square in shape or make the color of the pot either white, red or pink. The primary element for the Relationship section is the Earth element and you will have that with the soil for your new live plant. Please note that plants are not recommended for bedrooms as they are too energized for bedrooms where you should be sleeping.

Start with a small plant if you have never taken care of live plants before and begin to bring the outside in. The fresh oxygen from your new plant will give your health an instant boost. You’ll be able to think clearer, sleep soundly and be more creative. Plants also remove toxins from the air which is another benefit to having plants in your space. As with anything though, don’t overdo it with adding too many plants that it feels like a jungle in your home or business. Maintenance is

key as it is important to keep them looking good and healthy by removing any dead leaves and watering them properly. If the maintenance part is what worries you, there are a number of plants that require low maintenance. Do your homework or ask a professional in order to select the right plant for your lifestyle.

When you are outside, get in touch with plants and trees by actually touching them. Go for a walk and touch the leaves of the shrubs and trees you pass. Take off your shoes and connect with the dirt and grass beneath your feet as it will ground you, giving you balance and serenity.

After you start to incorporate a plant or two in your space, others around you will notice a difference in you and how well your Relationships are going!

Anti-InflammatoryGinger & Turmeric

Soups are perfect. They are pure, homecooked bliss. On a cold winter night, soup hits the soul. Even on a warm summer night, soup still brings on a level of comfort. If you add the right ingredients, soup can also help to heal your gut and help with any digestive issues.

As someone who deals with digestive issues on a daily basis, I find solace in soups. Since they are already cooked, the ingredients are gentler on the digestive system. In the instance of this particular soup, it is pureed, which is even easier on the system since it is already “chewed”.

Inflammation is a problem that affects more people than we think - the side effects being bloating, gas, upset stomach, and acid reflux. This can leave you feeling sick and generally just unwell. We can fix this with a simple, tasty, inflammation healing soup!

Everyone knows to reach for ginger when the tummy starts to turn - ginger ale is a very popular stomach calmer. Ginger is almost a miracle worker, helping digestive systems run smoothly and helping with nausea and diarrhea. Turmeric is another well known fighter against inflammation and stomach mayhem. It helps to relieve heartburn, gas, and bloating. So, lets get into this miracle soup!
