My family in the World War II

Two of mine great grandfathers and three of mine great great grandfathers protected our country in the Greatest War in the world.

One of them died and his history became a movie. His name was Nicolay Podlesniy.

Gerasimov Aleksey Alekseevich

My grandmother’s father was one of many soldiers who went all the way from Moscow to Berlin. With

Russian artillery he helped to release Europe from fascism.

He earned a lot of medals and was a real hero, who never spoke about his own acts of bravery.

Sychugov Ivan Ivanovich

My grandfathers father started his military service in 1938 in the Battle of Lake Hasan. He went through the whole Word War II and finished his service only in

the and of the May 1945 after the Victory Day. He earned a lot of medals too including The Great

Order of the Patriotic War
