My African Adventure

My name is Nick and this is my family…

I have a younger sister named Holly, my parents, and my monkey Pluto.

We are going on an African Adventure!

My dad goes there often for work, but this time he decided to take us all along.

On the plane ride there I saw a few animals.

The Native people call them Guepard (cheetah), flamant (flamingo), and singe (monkey like Pluto).

We made a new friend. His name is Gamelle.

The family took Gamelle along to translate. He taught me how to say two more animals in French. The great big baliene (whale) and the dauphin (dolphin).

When Dad took us on a tour on the Savannah …

We saw a bunch of animals like the zebre, girafe, elephant, lion, and the hippopatame… what can I say, Gamelle is a good teacher.

This animal wrangler showed us some crazy critters . Pluto was going crazy trying to catch the poissone out of the tank. Which is a great big fish.

Dad surprised us the next day by taking us to Madagascar.

Gamelle told me of some animals that I might see there, like the serpent, gorille, and especially the maki: which is a great big lemur.

He was right… I did see them.

On our way home we spent the night on the plane…. That I will never forget.
