ACS Army Family Team Building - People Encouraging People

The AFTB program helps improve personal and fam-ily preparedness. Army Fam-ily Team Building classes are open to active duty Soldiers, Family Members, Army Re-servists and Department of the Army Civilians. AFTB offers three levels of in-struction. Level 1 is geared towards the new spouse. We call it Spouse Survival Skills. Level 2 is geared to-wards the Emerging Leader in the Community. Most of the classes in Level 2 high-light Personal Development. Level 3 is more for those looking towards Professional Development. Anyone can take any of the levels and you don’t have to start with Level 1. Our instructors are spouses and we have one Active Duty Solider. We are looking for individuals who are interested in Teaching/

Facilitating those classes. We are offering Instructor Training in September for those who are interested.

People Encouraging People (PEP) is an introductory pro-gram introducing spouses new to the community to the programs offered here as well as what Bamberg has to offer. The program is a great way to meet other spouses new to the community and to learn how to make the most of your time in Bam-berg. A Week long class with free childcare (limited) avail-able. The next PEP Training is Aug. 23-27 and Sept. 20-24.

Save Money - Take advantage of the tax relief program

Tax relief for the pur-chase of goods and services in local German communi-ties is provided by international agree-

The trans-action is conducted properly. 2. The pur-chase is not a prohibited transaction. The Bamberg Tax Relief Office is located at the Community Activity Center.
