Citation preview
MUSTER ROLL of Field and Staff of the 28th Regiment of the New York Volunteer Militia (Foot), commanded by ColonelDhdlet Donnelly, organized under a law of the State of New York, entitled " An Act to authorize the embodying and equipment of a Volunteer Militia, and to provide for the Public
Defense," passed April 16, 1861; and called into the service of theUnited States by the President, under the act of Congress approved February 28, 1795, from the 22d day of May, 1861, (dateof this muster) for the term of two years, unless sooner discharged.
