At this time, Sibelius cannot export MusicXML. If you use Sibelius, please save your assignments and discussion activities as PDF files. Finale users should save their notation as MusicXML files, while Sibelius users should save their notation as PDF files. These requirements are to ensure that students (and the instructor) are able to open and review each other's work. Depending on the way your browser is set up you may be able to choose where the file is saved, or it may be saved to your default directory. 2.     Importing and Exporting MusicXML

    1. Select File > Open

    2. Select the file to import and click Open.

    Exporting MusicXML files in Finale 2006 or later

    1. We recommend you save the file as a Finale formatted file (.mus) first.

    2. Select File > MusicXML > Export

    3. Enter a file name and press Save.
