Volunteer Opportunities

DONUT SALES OFMA sells donuts at all varsity football home games and at the High

School and Middle School band and choir concerts.

Football game volunteers needed:

Volunteers are needed to sell donuts at each of the last varsity football home games (October 10th

and 31st ).

High School and Middle School concerts:

OFMA needs volunteers for the band and choir concerts to help with donut sales. Each event needs

1 volunteer to pick up donuts and 2 volunteers for High School shows and 4 volunteers for Middle

School shows, split into 2 shifts. Please keep in mind that if you are attending the show, this is an

easy way to volunteer. You will arrive early, save your favorite seat, then sell donuts before and

after the show.

WING NIGHT FUNDRAISER OFMA is hosting a wing night fundraiser at Tony K's, in Berea on Saturday, November 8th at

6 p.m. This night will be successful, but OFMA cannot do it alone. Volunteers are needed. Please

consider volunteering on a committee or donating a basket for the raffle.

How to Sign up to Volunteer:

OFMA is utilizing Sign Up Genius as an easy way for

volunteers to sign up. The sign up links are on OFMA’S

webpage. Here are the directions to access the links:

Private Lessons

Private lessons will be offered this year on flute,

clarinet, saxophone, cornet, trumpet, trombone,

baritone, tuba, percussion, voice, and maybe, de-

pending on the amount of interest, French horn,

oboe and bassoon. (Availability of lessons will de-

pend on the number of responses for each instru-

ment.) This is an excellent opportunity to help

your child enjoy band and choir more by being

able to participate at a higher level than before. All

students can greatly benefit from lessons. The ad-

vanced player will gain a greater depth of under-

standing and solo performance while the less ex-

perienced player will get a chance to practice the

fundamentals they need. Fee is $14.00 for each

once a week private lesson. Contact Mr. Feller at

440.427.6333 or [email protected] for more infor-

mation or to setup lesson for your child.

Homecoming Game Night

The 8th grade band students will participate in

the Pregame show with the High School Bull-

dog Marching Band. This will be a great oppor-

tunity for the 8th grade band students to experi-

ence what’s to come next school year when

they are 9th graders and members of the Bulldog

Marching Band. Have fun 8th graders!!

Choir Uniforms: Students are being fitted for

their formal concert attire. Men will be bringing four

piece tuxes home (shirt, jacket, pants, tie) and women

will be bringing a long dress home. These uniforms

should be kept neat and clean. They are sent out to be

dry cleaned once per school year in June. The class fee

covers the cost of cleaning. If the uniform becomes

soiled, it is fine to have them cleaned between concerts

at the cleaner of your choice. (Women's dresses can be

safely laundered on a cold gentle cycle - hang to dry.)

Dress and pants hems should fully touch the top of the

student's shoe (approximately 1.5 inches above floor).

Private Lessons are a great way to fast forward your

child's progress. Lessons are taught one to one, dealing

with just your child's skills. Here are some excellent

area teachers:
