MUSIC MATTERS Since 1919 the VSO has played a pivotal role in the musical life of our city and province. Today, with a reputation for excellence, diversity and innovation the Vancouver Symphony leads the way in bringing exceptional talent to our stage and the most inspirational and engaging education programs to our young people.
Patrons’ Circle members play an invaluable role as partners in the music making, helping to ensure the financial security of the orchestra so that the music can play on. And in turn, you become more closely connected to the orchestra, its musicians and visiting artists through your participation in a series of activities and events.
When you make a Patrons’ Circle gift you are not only supporting the VSO in its presentation of 150 passionate, high quality concerts and 13 engaging music education programs for infants, children and young adults each year, but you are also giving the gift of music to your community. Symphonic music is a life-giving, emotional journey that takes us out of our everyday lives and moves us to laughter, tears and all the emotions in between. Music changes us, enriches our lives and leaves us better for listening.

Open Rehearsals:In addition to the scheduled on-stage rehearsal and luncheon, all Patrons’ Circle members are welcome to attend the two open rehearsals for Friends of the Vancouver Symphony—Saturday, October 17, 2015 and Saturday, May 28, 2016.
