F rom the slums to stardom, Lil Smasha came into the game from an early age, he was up against some tough com-petitiors as there were so many grime artists around, but what made Lil Smasha so special?“ I had the fl ow they wanted”After 4 long years of hard graffting and constant pen to paper writting lyrics he shone through and before he knew it it was his time.

“ Yeah it was hard and took some time but i knew i had what it took to make it, so why stop?”

Lil Smasha was a individual artist coming from grime which nowadays is the hardest genre to make it big from. He had no proffesional help just

him and his budget home made studio recording tracks all day every day. He said “ Long hours payed off, I’ve came this far by myself

with only using my own skills.”

So what now?” Road to mainstream” he said. He was ready to change his background genre to some-thing not so different, making tracks suitable for the wider audience. We asked him of his plans

“ New style new fl ow equals success, ive got sum big plans for this year, i have spoken to some made artists and have planned some collaborations with them.”

“Everyone has their time, and now it’s mine. I Ain’t lookin to be no 1

hit wonder i’m here for good”What makes you different from previous up and coming artists? and are you

here to stay?“ I know what the streetz need and thats what their gonna get. I’ve been

on this for too long to let it go now and now that my name has brought me this far i’m not dissapointing the people and the streetz.” Lil

Smasha claims that his talents are what the ‘streetz’ need, his attitude is surely positive and appealing to this type of genre

which could just be the difference between a one hit wonder and a Star.

Lil Smasha’s road to mainstream is his dream, he has the talent and the will now it’s just up to him to do it, This grime artists has came from so ‘Lil’ and has done it all on his own.

Lil Smasha has plans to sign a contract with paradox records, now surely signing with them will give him all he needs to make it BIG! his fl ows, their skills will defi netly be a great combination. (Laughs) “I made an underground track called Alphabetic Assasin which i use rymes for each letter of the alphabet and use my low to buss the track”
