Jeff Wolfe, MT-BC, Advisor Hello, I’m Jeffrey Wolfe, the Student Advisor for AMTAS. I’m a board certified music

therapist and the Community Programs Manager at Institute for Therapy through the Arts in the greater Chicago area. My role as student advisor includes Chairing the Student Affairs Advisory Board. This includes coordinating the AMTAS executive board and each regions student advisor and president. I’m excited that this year will bring about even more growth

for AMTAS. The national Passages conference will be bigger and better than last year, we’re solidifying our financial policies, students will have more access and support from each of their regions and each student advisor, and AMTAS has a very talented executive

board. There are also some really great plans in place to celebrate the history of AMTAS at national conference. Finally, I am looking forward to reading student submissions for the E. Thayer Gaston Research Competition. Each research paper submission is eligible for a

$500 award and possible publication in the Journal of Music Therapy.

We look forward to seeing you in St. Louis, Missouri for the 2017 National AMTA Conference!
