MURK - Manual for Uniform Record Keeping Manuals containing uniform contract
record keeping forms and procedures to be followed by the Engineer, current on the date of the contract award.
The MURK manuals are guidance documents, and are not a part of the contract documents.
MURK Part 1A – (CAM) The Contract Administration Manual
Contains guidance on the administration of the general provisions contained in the Standard Specifications along with Contract Civil Rights Compliance Reviews.
MURK Part 1B – (CIM) The Construction Inspection Manual
Contains guidance on field inspection duties, responsibilities and record keeping requirements.
MURK Part 1C – The Construction Division Safety and Health Program Manual
A comprehensive reference to all aspects of the administration of safety and health requirements on Department contracts.
Applies to contractor’s construction operations, to program staff, and to the construction inspection consultants’ staff.
MURK Part 1D – Construction Consultant Manual
Provides guidance to Department staff on the management of consultants in construction.
MURK Part 2A – (MIM) Materials Inspection Manual
Provides guidance for inspectors on how to determine the acceptability of materials arriving on a project site.
