  A little too young to be riding a bike

  But nonetheless, the whole creation just seem to fit the setting of the old building

  Curiosity and interest among motorists & tourists

Old motorbike was installed on a wall and an unused door with a painting of

a boy seated on the bike.

•  First Impression: Naughty boy • Non-verbal message (Facial Expression): From the face of the boy, we know that he is scared of something • Public Communication: Uses the real motorcycle as a part of the mural art (realistic feeling) •Passive Perception: We understand that the boy is riding a motorcycle without a license • Selective Attention Boy turned back instead of looking in front

  Back in the old days, riding a bicycle can filled us with enjoyment but it has now been abandoned and replaced by

technology such as mobile phone.

 Concepts    NON-­‐VERBAL  MESSAGES  (smiling)  

 The  faces  of  the  kids  are  happy.    COLLECTIVIST  CULTURE  

 Strong  bonding  of  family  between      siblings.    PASSIVE  PERCEPTION(senses)  

 It  makes  some  of  us  remembered  the  joy  of  riding  bicycle  when  we  were    also  young.    CONCEPT  OF  SPACE  

 An  intimate  space  between  siblings,    meaning  that  the  space  between      them  are  very  

close(0-­‐6  inches)      SELECTIVE  ATTENTION  Attention  will  be  directed  to  it  as  the  painting  of  kids  on  a  real  bicycle  is  at  the  middle  of  an  empty  alley.

>  how  nature  is  now  a  very  limited  resource    >  hand  represents  the  modern  us  &  the  apple  is  the  only  fruit  left  on  earth    >  the  hand  in  the  picture  is  from  the  future  &  the  apple  in  the  picture  is  out  of  the  frame,  representing  how  the  apple  is  unable  to  be  reached

Non-­‐verbal  communication  (hand-­‐gestures)  >the  hand  shows  that  the  human  is  trying  to  reach  out  for  the  apple      Passive  Perception(  >this  mural  art  shows  that  we  are  taking  the  natural  resource  because  of  greed.      Public  Communication:  >  this  mural  communicates  with  everyone  and  enables  people  to  take  picture  with  it          Connotation  (apple  tree)  >The  tree  with  apple  is  about  to  be  plucked  by  a  human  hand.      Visual  Preference  >The  more  limited  natural  resources  is  being  used,  the  harder  for  us  to  get  it  in  the  future.
