Communications Plan Murad – November, 2017 Purpose: This strategic communications plan is designed to support the goals and objectives of Murad, the leading clinical skincare brand, part of Unilever's prestige Personal Care business. The plan will serve as a framework for managing and coordinating the company’s external communication. Communication enhances and protects Murad’s reputation, advances and strengthens its brand and reinforces Murad’s importance to key stakeholders, including customers and consumers; investors; suppliers; and the Board. An integrated approach, in which communications are tied to institutional priorities and programs, will help Murad advance its position with key audiences and drive broader awareness and support for the brand. Objectives: Elevate awareness of Murad as the leading clinical skincare brand. Use insight-driven communication strategies to grow the brand and business. Inspire the brand with thought leadership and best practice. Optimize and enhance communication strategies, measurement and optimization by working closely with all Unilever Prestige marketing teams. Create cross-brand community of expertise and best practice sharing to accelerate faster adoption across the Prestige brands. • InternalMuradcreativeandapprovalprocessesshouldbestreamlinedtoensureacontinuumofmessage–i.e.,asocialmediacampaignmustreflectthesamemessagesandpromotions,aswellaslookandfeel,aseblasts,advertisements,blogposts,etc.

• Provideinfluencerswithproductsamples,messagingandvideoclipsforuseintheirownInstagram/Facebookvideos.
