Multiple Document Attachment in Tally

This manual will help you on how to configure & use Multiple

Document Attachment module in Tally.ERP9.

With this module you can add up to 15 local and cloud documents

for voucher and 10 local and cloud documents for masters.

Supported Tally version: Tally.ERP9 Rel 5.1 & Above

Step – 1

Copy Multiple Document Attachment.tcp file in your Tally.ERP9

folder as shown in below screen shot.

Step – 2

Open Tally > Press F12: Configure > Products & Features

Press F4 : Manage Local TDL to get below screen

- Load TDL files on startup = Yes

- List of TDL files to preload on startup = Multiple Document

Step -3

Activating the module;

Open company in Tally > Press F11 > Add-on Features > Enable

Document Management = Yes

On next screen it will prompt you to define the default path of your

documents where you are going to store the documents;

Step - 4

Once the above steps are done….you will see a new option added

just above the Narration in all voucher types as well as in masters

as “Attach Document = Yes / No” as shown in below screen shots;

When you set as Yes, a new window as shown below will be popup

to attach the documents. You just have to give the file name in case

of Local Documents and web URL in case of Web Documents

To open the document, just click on button Open Document

Documents attached in vouchers will be also shown in the voucher

register as shown below and you can find the button to open

selected document as well;

You can enable / disable this option from F12 > View Documents

option;
