INTRODUCTION Employee resource groups (ERGs) have become common fixtures in corporate environments throughout the world. Used a key elements of diversity and talent management strategies, ERGs are now being looked at as key business drivers. As workforces are becoming increasingly multigenerational, companies are now including generation-specific ERGs in their diversity strategies. In a recent Diversity Best Practices member poll, members were asked a series of questions about generation-specific ERGs. Thirty-eight organizations participated. N/A CONCLUSION This survey found that the majority of organizations have generational or cross-generational ERGs—many which have been established in the last 5 years. This marks an innovative trend that is geared toward fully leveraging all age groups represented in workforce. This is a key inclusion opportunity for organizations that are still working to establish ERGs. Creating the opportunity for generations to informally and formally learn from each other can create a more cohesive and productive work environment.
