IGES & STEP : MultiCAx IGES and MultiCAx STEP Plug-ins

• Iges and Step files can be imported in MultiCAD mode as facetted and/or Exact representation with link to original Iges or Step file (like any other MultiCAD data):

– Data are not modifiable in V5 (locked).

– Ability to update V5 generated data according to changes made in Iges or Step file

• If Iges (IG1) or Step (ST1) license is available on seat, the user has the capability to unlock the imported data:

– Provide ability to modify data in V5

– Remove the link to original Iges or Step file and therefore the capability to update V5 generated data according to changes in original files

� Enables customer using both products to switch from MultiCAD mode to Translator mode at no conversion cost (not reversible).
