Many thanks to Mrs Smart, Miss Dines and Mrs Tyler for ensuring the Kinder Orientation process was well organised and supportive for the students and their families. Thank you too, to our Year 4 Buddies. You are doing a great job! We welcome our new Kinders and we look forward to watching them grow as young people and blossom as learners. Cheerers Needed Our first main event for 2010 is tonight’s swimming carnival which will commence at 5pm. The P&C are hosting a BBQ, so bring the family for dinner and a fun evening of cheering and supporting our swimmers. All skill levels will be catered for as the carnival will have both competitive and novelty races. We hope to see you tonight. In lieu of tonight’s carnival, there will be no classes tomorrow, Wednesday, for all Primary students and Year 2 children who are 8years old. Classes will still operate for the Junior school. Good Attendance – Good Habit It is wonderful to see that most of our students attend school regu- larly. Daily attendance, from 9am to 3pm, gives your child the best possible chance to be a successful learner. As part of our regular up- date of school Policy, we are reviewing our procedures for monitoring absences. Please inform the school if your child will be away from school for any length of time. After short absences, please send a note to your child’s teacher on his/her return to school. If you over- look this, we will send a reminder letter. Please don’t be offended, we are simply ensuring our records are accurate.
