God’s revelations meaning the Qur’an was given to Muhammad at night during the last hours of it.('urely We

revealed it on the )ight of Ma*esty.+ ,-/01 Ga!riel did not reveal it to Muhammad in a dar$ cave at night. He came to

Muhammad while he was loo$ing out at the nights s$y. %his happen during 2amadan at night while Muhammad was

loo$ing out at the hori#on. He saw something in the distance.

Quran 30/0-456 7erily this is the word of a most honora!le Messenger& 8ndued with ower& with ran$ !efore the 9ord

%his verse ma$es clear that he saw Ga!riel the Messenger in the clear hori#on. It never said Muhammad saw him in

a cave nor would Muhammad !e a!le to see him from the cave of Hira. Here is another verse stating the distance

!etween Muhammad and the angel during the night of power.

Qur’an 6/@405 It is naught save an inspiration that is inspired& Which one of mighty powers hath taught him& ;ne

vigorous= and he grew clear to view. When he was on the uppermost horizon. %hen he drew nigh and came

down Till he was (distant) two bows’ length or even nearer, :nd He revealed unto His slave that which He

revealed. %he heart lied not ,in seeing1 what it saw. Will ye then dispute with him concerning what he seeth?

He first saw Ga!riel in the upper hori#on. Ga!riel came down closer and closer a!out two !ows length. %he story in

the Qur’an says that Ga!riel had some distance from Muhammad. ;ne !ow length is a!out 53 inches two would !earound AB inches or 6 feet. Ga!riel was a!out 6 feet away from Muhammad when he inspired him with the Qur’an.

%his proves that Ga!riel neither touched nor did he s"uee#e Muhammad. He was not that close to Muhammad to

s"uee#e him also the cave he was supposedly in did not have a view of the hori#on especially at night. Celow is the

cave of Hira it is not mention anywhere in the Qur’an. %his cave is 05 feet long and 6 feet inches wide that is a very

tight area. It has a very small opening again it would !e impossi!le for one to see the upper hori#on from this small

cave. Muhammad never dwelt in this cave to receive revelation. %hat is not a Quranic teaching it is a hadith teaching

%he angel came to him and as$ed him to read. %he prophet added/ I do not $now how to read. %he angel caught me

(forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again as$ed me

to read and I replied/ I do not $now how to read. %hereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till

%his hadith states that Muhammad was running away from Ga!riel and he had to catch him. He had to catch him

multiple times even pressing him with pain. 'cholars say that this was the first time Muhammad encountered Ga!riel

!ut this is not true. %he story a!ove ma$e it seem li$e Ga!riel was ma$ing mista$es trying again and again. %he

angel came to Muhammad from the hori#on and came near to him then stopped around 6 feet and gave him

inspiration. He did not have to touch him. He came to him a second time as well. %hey teach that Muhammad was

carried from Mecca& 'audi :ra!ia to Ferusalem. %his is not true as well. Muhammad was ta$en to the heavenly place

of prostrate. He was ta$en to see a lote4tree near the Garden of aradise. He saw a lote4tree enshroud near the

garden. %here is where he saw angel Ga!riel again. It doesn’t say that he was given any scriptures there !ut he did

see a revelation.

Quran 6/0403 :nd verily he saw him yet another time. Cy the lote4tree of the utmost !oundary& )igh unto which is

the Garden of :!ode. When that which shroudeth did enshroud the lote4tree& %he eye turned not aside nor yet was

over!old. 7erily he saw one of the greater revelations of his 9ord.

How was God’s revelation given to Muhammad?

%he revelations was given to Muhammad through inspiration to his heart. %his is done through the spirit entering his

!ody li$e the prophets of old. %he !oo$ was taught to him !y way of inspiration. ;ne can not give a physical !oo$ to

someone’s heart thus this was a act of spiritual possession not !y a evil spirit !ut !y a mighty spirit from God. Ga!riel

is spea$ing in the Qur’an to Muhammad’s heart. %he Qur’an did not come down in one night ready to read !ut the

inspiration was given in that night. %he spirit and mental stimulation was given in that night.

(:nd surely this is a revelation from the 9ord of the worlds. %he faithful spirit has !rought it& on thy heart that thou

In conclusion& if any one as$ you& where& and how did the prophet Muhammad receive his 2evelation say? 'ay he

saw Ga!riel a!ove the hori#on and he came near to Muhammad !ut did not touch him. %hen he gave him the

revelations to his heart cha$ra. %hus& the impulses and angel would !e inside the prophet from that point on. %his is
