In this section, information about the workplace of internship should be given. Workplace presentation (organization chart, history, employees, place within the sector, targets etc.) should not exceed 2 pages. Date information for company presentation and references parts, cannot be included in the internship work days.
Internship report, as shown in the sample text, will be written in “Calibri” font, 11-point letter size and justified at 1.15 multiple line spacing. All symbols and special signs will be added digitally. After commas or points, ONE CHARACTER spacing will be left. The beginning of paragraphs will be indented as 1,25 cm and after the paragraph there will be ONE ROW interval.
Internship report should be filled completely on a computer. Digital version of student’s passport photo has to be included to the internship evaluation receipt and the confirmation page of internship report. At least one page must be assigned to each working day and each page must be filled with a worksheet header box. Up to 1/3 of a page can be filled with images. Figures and tables should be numbered and explained.
Internship report should be understandable, in scientific language and written according to the rules of writing. The narration should be made from the mouth of a third person (passive voice) , and short and concise sentences should be used. The internship report should be in English for internships doing in abroad.
Information from sources such as the Internet, books and journals should be indicated by numbering the source of the information. For this purpose, the Citations & Bibliography group on the References tab should be used after the IEEE Bibliography Style is uploaded to Word.
The front and back cover pages of the internship report should be white cardboard in A4 standard. The black-and-white or colourful print of the content pages must be taken using only one side of a white paper in A4 standard. The internship report should be bound by placing the content pages between the front and the back cardboard covers in a complete and sequential manner. The relevant sections for each page of the internship report must be stamped and signed by the responsible person (Biomedical, Electrical-Electronics, Computer or Mechanical Engineer, etc.).
Internship report with filled internship evaluation receipt in closed, sealed and signed envelope will be delivered to the Department Secretariat in return for signature. The type of the internship, student number and name must be written on the envelope. There must be no signatures, seals or stamps in the confirmation section of the internship commission or faculty member. Also acceptance or rejection marking should not be done.

The student should report his / her internship works separately for each working day. Works done and field studies should be photographed and documented (Photos should not be quoted from any sources such as catalogues and internet!). The student is obliged to explain detailed his / her works in workplace (using working photograph, figure, graphic, block diagram, situation plan, flow chart, program, program algorithm, pricing etc.).
In the paragraphs before the figures, explanations about the figure should be given. It should be noted that the attached figures are understandable and their writings are legible. When referring to the figure in the text, it can be mentioned in the sentence in the form of Figure 1 or it can be mentioned in the parentheses at the end of the sentence (Figure 1). Below each figure, a short explanation as a caption should be taken care.

A detailed research on a biomedical device related to the work should be done and information should be given. As a result of the research, which sources have been used, should be mentioned in the references section. The IEEE bibliography style will be used when quoting in text. After the relevant description clause in the report, the source number is given directly in square brackets as shown in the following example. The numbering is continued from “1“ in sequence [1].
As shown in Figure 2, in the case of citations like pictures, photos and graphics, the source number should be written to the corresponding figure [2]. When necessary, more than one source can be shown for an explanation, a figure or a table [3] [4] [5].
