NEWSLETTER ~ TERM 2 - No. 10 – 4 July 2019
Parent Care Group Over the years parents have played an important role
in participating in the pastoral life of the school. The
Parent Care Group is a good example of this. The
Parent Care Group consists of a group of kind
parents who donate a couple of hours each month to
prepare frozen meals for families in need.
The Parent Care Group is interested in hearing from
anyone who would like to donate some time. An
hour every few weeks would be all it takes but it
would make a huge difference to families in need.
China Connection This week St Joseph’s School will welcome students
from BeiCai China. The children are part of a group
co-hosted by St Joseph's Papanui and Villa Maria
College. Our visitors will be with the school for only
two days. Just a small taste of Kiwi life.
Next week our Global Youth Ambassadors will
travel to China. During their time away the group
will be spending time in a Panda Camp and will be
taking in some of China’s world famous landmarks.

experts in cybersafety.

Happy Term Break
The colds and flus that have hit schools throughout
the city have had a heavy toll on both children and
teachers with many away over the last few weeks.
The term break has come just in time to give many
an opportunity to recuperate.
I wish you all well and look forward to seeing your
smiling faces return to school on Monday 22 July.
