Background

• In the contribution, we evaluate the MU-MIMO system-level performance of 8TX codebook systems under various mobile environments: Urban Macro, Suburban, Urban Micro

• MU-MIMO is evaluated using 4-bit rank-1 codebook• Impact of antenna spacing is also evaluted

Summary-MU-MIMO

– System-level MU-MIMO simulation results show that the current AWD rank-1 codebook works well as compared propsoed codebook

– As shown, slight performance degradation is observed for larger antenna spacing, as expected.
