Since then I’ve worked for them almost exclusively. Their field service, payroll, and safety / OQ people have always been really easy to work with, and very helpful. Getting paid for overtime time is nice, and I know I don’t have to worry about dealing with any surprises at tax time. Thanks MTSi!” - Marty Stevenson, Assistant Chief / Lead Inspector “I’ve known and worked with Dustin McDaniel since his days at Williams. I can say from personal experience, that Dustin and and his staff at MTSi are committed to paying their inspectors fairly, and to providing valuable benefits. I have a choice of health care plans and get a company match on my 401k contributions. I’d encourage others to look at MTSi…I’m glad I did.” Joe Hunt, Chief / Lead Inspector Featured MTSi Employee Jim Gerlach serves as McDaniel Technical Service’s Director of Business Development & Field Services. In January, he will be celebrating his third year of service with MTSi after working for Williams Pipeline Company for over 27 years. “The wealth of industry knowledge that Jim brings to our management team is absolutely priceless” said MTSi CEO Dustin McDaniel. “Jim is an invaluable resource to us and our clients.” Originally from Indiana, Jim has one son, one daughter and three grandchildren. 2014 Tulsa Pipeliners’ Club Golf Tournament

On October 6th Josh Janousek – Manager of Field Services at MTSi, Jim Gerlach – Director of Business

Development at MTSi, and Jeff Trost – Sr. VP of Sales and Business Development at MTSi competed in

the 2014 Pipeliners’ Club of Tulsa annual golf tournament. Though they did not place in the scramble

event, everyone enjoyed a great day of golf, food, and networking with other pipeline industry

personnel. Each year this event generates thousands of dollars for the club’s scholarship fund.

2014 US Construction Safety Roundtable

September 29th and 30th, MTSi participated in the US

Construction Safety Roundtable in Miami, Florida. Activities

included in-depth panel discussions as well as question and

answer sessions covering a broad spectrum of construction

industry concerns, emerging safety issues, and best practice

recommendations. Participants also enjoyed several

excellent industry networking opportunities including

a wine and whiskey tasting event and golf outing.

2014 Tulsa Pipeliners’ Club Clay Shoot

MTSi recently sponsored a team at the 2014 Annual

Clay Shoot hosted by the Tulsa Pipeliners Club. CEO

Dustin McDaniel competed alongside Josh Janousek and Jim

Gerlach from MTSi. Over 300 shooters participated in this event

that provided a full day of target shooting, and some great food.

The event benefits the Pipeliners’ scholarship fund.

Not getting as many resume

responses to as you anticipated? Randy Miller, MTSi’s VP of Field Services, has

been recruiting and placing a wide variety of

personnel since 2000. He offers these 4

quick tips when preparing your resume: 1) Be honest! Your work history will be

checked. Falsifying your resume will ruin

your reputation and cost you your job.

2) Check it, check it, check it! Spelling and

grammar errors may be a sign of laziness,

and lack of attention to detail.

3) List your employer! Who you worked for is

as important as operator or project name.

4) Details please! A title is not enough.

Describe the project (mileage, diameter, etc.)

as well as your responsibilities.

If you have resume related questions or need

additional guidance, please contact:
