Cibele Sabioni, mezzo-sopranoCibele Sabioni graduated with a degree in instrumental conducting from the Conservatory of Tatui, where she also

teaches Vocal Brazilian Genres, She has a Bachdors degree in classical piano from the University of Bauru in S6u Paulo sp+cializing in Halana-Cr-ba, As a chc$r director, she has established five groups, working very intensively on Brazilian rqertoire.She has worked as a voice guest clinician at the Nalronal Theate Fesfival of Curitiba, Naflonal Conseruatcire of Assunaor,Paraguay and at the National University of Villa Maria, Argentina in Vocal Brazilian G€nres." In 2005, Obele was a guest artistof the Erazilran Wnd Orchesta, with the Brazilian Talk Quartet, and a tour of five concerts in the city of SEu Paulo with reper-toire of sambas especially ananged for those concerts. Also, she was the guest singer of the Orquestra de Vientos of SantaRosa, Argentina with the MunicipalWind Orchesta of Bilbao, Spain, singing Brazilian rqertoire, Cibele is a singer in tw Brazil-ian Talk Quartel; a group invited to rcpresent Brazil in the Lafrn Culfure Fesiyalat the Berklee College of Music in Boston, fo.cusing on dwdoping wide research on the technique and interpretation of Brazilian song through the history of Brazil.

Cibele participated on the first and second South Ameican Conference of Composers and Condudors of SymphonicBandin Tatui, and the third /bero-Ameican Conference in Cordoba, Argentina. In 2006 in Minneapolis, MN, she participated inthe Stafe Conferenoe of Music Education In 2007 she was one of fre band direc'tors invited to pertorm at the first Latin Aner-ica Meeting of Composers, Anangers and Band Direcfors and condrcted the Jusf lflome n Symphonic Band at the Mqnoriat ofLatin Amedcan in Siu Paulo.

She is cunently a conductor at the Conseruatory of Tatui, and lounding member of the Ldin Amedcan Foro ofWomen Condudors of Symphonic Bands, Ensernbles and Orcbesfas.

Dario Sotelo, Guest ConductorDado Sotelo graduated with degrees in Piano, Violin, Viola and Fine Arb, and in 1983 joined the Conservatory of

Tatui. In 1984 he formed his first children's orchestra, and from 1986 to 1991 he was in charge of the String Deparbnent In1991, he receiv€d a scholarship from the Bdtish Council to complete a masters degree in conducting at City University of Lon-don, vvhere he stuc{d with Ezra Rachlin, dsciple of the great condrctor Fritz Reiner. As part of this course, he conducted fourconcertos, appearing as a special guestfor one performance.

Retuming to Brazil in 1993, Sotelo was invited to be the Atstic Director and Conductor of the BrnilianWnd Arches-fra and since 1998 he has been the Principal Conductor of the Paulrsfa Symphonic Orchesfia, In 2002 and2004 he becamethe General Coordinator of the first and second South-Ameicn Regional Conferene of Wind Band Composerc, Anangers andConductors. ln 2006 he established the firct Natonal Composers Meetingin Tatui and in 2A07 the first ktin American Meetingof Composers, Anangers and Band Drecfors.

He established very close cdlabonations with Brazilian cornposers and anangers through commissioning, rordsing,editing and prerniering ner works with the synphonic and string orchestra and symphorfc band, His repertcfre includes morehan 70 premieres of Bnazilian compositions. Sotelo has been invited to conduct in numerous countries around the world includ-ing: Hungary, Spain, England, USA, South Africa, Paraguay, Argentina and wifrin his native Brazil.

Dr. trlodney DorseyRodney Dorsey is the Associate Director of Bands at the University of Michigan

where he conducts the concert band, teaches undergraduate conducting, and conducts theMichigan Youth Band. He has also served on the faculties of DePaul and NorthwesternUniversities.

Ensembles under Dr. Dorsey's direction have performed at several state and r,ra-tional events including the Bands ojAmerica National Caneert Band Festiual. He is activeas a guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator in the United States and Hungary.

Mr. John EasleyJohn Easley is in his z6th year of teaching and his z3rd year as the Director of

Bands at Union CitV Higir Schooi in Tennessee. During his tenure, the band has receivednumerous honors including five-time finalist at the MTSU Contest of Champiorm, five-timeTennessee Class AA Stote ehampioru, and Bands of America Closs A Champiotts.

Mr. Easley is active professionally in a number of organizations and currentlyservesas the Director oi Music atihe First United Methodist Church of Union City. He is also ac-tive as a guest clinician and adjudicator throughout the Southeastern United States.

Mr. Tom CanevaThomas Caneva is the Director of Bands and an Associate Professor of Music at Ball

State University. Dr. Caneva has also served on the faculties of the University of Illinois,University of Colorado, Auburn University, and the University of Texas.
