FAMILY RECIPES

Have you got a Family Recipe

that is well loved? It could be one

that you have made yourself

which is a firm family favourite or

one that has been passed down

through generations and is

still used. There are stories

behind each family

recipe, the time of year that you

make it, the memories it gives

you or the traditions you have

with it. Send in your

recipe, your stories and a

picture.

FAMILY STORIES  

Has there been a story in your

family that has been passed

down? It could be a well-loved

published story or one someone

made up that has been retold or

even a song or a rhyme? We

would love to hear your family

stories and the memories that

go with it.

FAMILY POEM

An acrostic poem is a poem where

certain letters in each line spells

out a word or phrase. Typically, the

first letter of each line are used to

spell the message, but they can

appear anywhere. Use the word

FAMILY to create your own poem.

Then think about how you could

display it, can it be painted, be

done by calligraphy or

even pictures of objects that look

like the letters? Send in your

creations.

FAMILY PICTURE

Provided is a picture stimulus of a

women from Salisbury. Have a good

look at the picture and start to

create her story. Who is she? What's

her name? Does she have a

secret?  There are some character

questions to help you along.  Where

do they live?Is there something they

need?What are they thinking?A

Memory? Who are her family and

what are they like?
