QuotesQuotes from industry professionals
“I find The Toyota TRS series the best to offer young drivers during their
career path. I have been a long-term believer and supporter of the series
and in recent years, I suggested to Gerhard (Berger) to send his nephew,
Lucas Auer and Nelson (Piquet) to send his son Pedro out to compete.
After explaining the overall learning to be gained from 15 races over a
short period of 5 weeks of the series, they had no hesitation and sending
them out to compete.
MTEC has a long history of running and developing drivers in the TRS
series and is well supported with highly rated engineers and mechanics."
Greg (Peewee) Siddle – Driver manager
QuotesQuotes from industry professionals
“After three consecutive seasons of working in the Toyota Racing Series it
leaves me in no doubt of the incredible level of competition that the five
weeks of racing provide. Mentally and physically it is gruelling for both
driver and team, the benefits however and tangible and long lasting.
The MTEC team run by Bruin Beasley are certainly considered as one of the
most competitive and well organised on the TRS grid, not only does the
team have a crop of totally professional engineers and mechanics it has to
be considered the team run by racers for racers!
This shows in every aspect of the team, especially the great atmosphere
within the MTEC pit.”
Rod Macleod - Pro driver, Driver Mentor/Coach. Speed Group USA
“The Toyota Racing Series has become one of the most important
experiences worldwide for the development of young drivers. The level of
competition is 2nd to none and the intense five weeks sees most drivers
mature from boys to young independent men.
Bruin at Mtec runs one of the most competitive teams with vastly
experience personnel from major European champions like GP2, World
Series Formula V8, Euro cup and FIA Formula Three.”
Marcus Koch - Head Engineer
