• The primary purpose of MSJC faculty email is to enable communications between students and teachers, and between MSJC administration and teachers.

Your email address is:

First initial of your first name + All of your last name @msjc.edu

Your initial password is:

Your date of birth MMDDYY (6 digits, no slashes)

Example: Susan Guarino = [email protected]

On first login, you will be prompted to change your password.

• What if I am not able to log in?– Your personal information e.g. date of birth or spelling of your name, may be incorrect

in the MSJC system. – There may be a duplicate name in the system, e.g. another jsmith– There may be an issue with hyphenated last names (uses all of last part of name)– Your hire packet may not be complete, so there has been no trigger to create your

email account.

EagleAdvisor system.

• The MSJC EagleAdvisor is where you will download rosters, obtain a comma-delimited roster file for use in Excel, submit your grades, submit early alert, drop students, etc.

Teaching multiple sections?

Yes, you will be granted multiple extensions in the system.

You can choose to use all extensions, by class, or choose to use only one.

Just let your students know what number you will use for class communications.

(For multiples, no need to call back. When you are ready to move on,

simply enter the 6 + next section number + *, e.g. 62543*)
