Dear Colleagues:

Welcome to 59 years of MSHA and counting!

Our President, Beth McKerlie, has given us a focus not only for our convention, but one that speaks clearly to our profession.

We have added additional continuing education oppor-tunities at this year’s Convention. The Day Institute on Friday will feature Dr. Jim Coyle, well known in the area of dysphagia. New to the convention this year, is the addition of a Short Course.

Invited speaker, Pam Hart, will offer a repeating session in the morning and again in the afternoon with a hands-on AAC workshop: “Improving Language and Literacy Outcomes for Individuals Who Use AAC.” This will be limited to 30 participants each offering.

MSHA is proud to present a strong lineup of invited speakers who will be presenting a total of 14 professional sessions throughout the three days of Convention.

Like last year, MSHA will record select sessions that can be offered after Convention for continuing eduction hours that you can view online.

The MSHA Project this year is supporting the Lost and Found Grief Center. Donors will receive a special ribbon to wear throughout Convention.
