Aluminum PasteToluene * VHAPXylene * VHAPEthyl Benzene * VHAPVM & P NapthaFormaldehyde

* Toxic chemical subject ot the reporting requiremens of both Section 313 of the Emergency Planning &Community Right to Know Act of 1986 (40CRF372) and the Wisc. DNR Administrative Code Chapter NR445.VHAP = Volatile Hazardous Air Pollutant

HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

EYE CONTACT: Liquid or vapor may cause moderate to severe irritationSKIN CONTACT: May cause defatting and drying of skin, burning sensation or dermatitisINHALATION: Inhalation of high concentrations of vapors may cause dizziness, breathing difficulty, headachesor respiratory irritation. Extremely high concentrations may cause drowsiness, staggering, confusion, coma orunconsciousness.INGESTION: Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Aspiration of material into lungscan cause chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal.

FIRST AID MEASURES

EYES: Flush with large quantities of water for 15 minutes, holding eyelids apart to flush entire area.SKIN: Wash thoroughly with soap and water, and seek medical attention. Launder contaminated clothing beforereuse.INHALATION Move person to fesh air. If breathing stops, apply artificial respiration and seek immediate medicalattentionINGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Doing so may cause chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema.Contact a physician.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

FLASH POINT (METHOD): 21C (TOC)EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Class B fire extinguishers (carbon dioxide, dry chemical or foam), inert dry granularmaterial (like sand), AFFF or protein foam. DO NOT USE HALOGENATED EXTINGUISHING AGENTS. Hallin mayreact violently with aluminum particles. The use of water may be ineffective. Aluminum fire may react with water toform hydrogen gas. If using water, use only at a water fog setting, not a solid stream.SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS: Water spray may be ineffective. Use water to cool closed containersto prevent pressure buildup and autoignition. Product will float and can be reignited on surface of water. Selfcontained positive pressure breathing apparatus should be worn.UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: This material is highly volatile and gives off vapors which maytravel along the ground or be moved by ventilation. Keep containers tightly closed. Isolate from heat, electricalequipment, sparks and open flames. Sealed containers may explode if exposed to extreme heat. Do not apply tohot surfaces. This product may become electrostatically charged during mixing or pouring. Bond and ground

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

SPILL OR RELEASE: Remove all sources of ignition. Ventilate area of spill and adjacent low lying areas. Removespilled product with inert absorbent materials and non-sparking tools.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Keep away from extreme heat or flame. Do not store at temperatures above 120F. Do not reseal container if waterintrudes as explosive hydrogen may be generated. Maximum recommended shelf life 9 - 12 months frommanufacture.

EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

VENTILATION: General mechanical ventilation or local exhaust should be suitable to keep vapor concentrationsbelow the TLV. Ventilation equipment must be explosion proof.RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: If conditions produce vapor concentrations above the time weighted thresholdlimit values, use a NIOSH approved cartridge respirator to keep exposure below those threshold limit values. Inpoorly ventilated areas, use a fresh-air supplying respirator, or a self-controlled breathing apparatus.EYE AND FACE PROTECTION: Use chemical safety glasses, goggles or face shield.OTHER CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT: Use of aprons or protective clothing is recommended to reduce the likelihoodof skin contact.WORK/HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Good industrial hygiene practices should be followed. This includes preventingeye contact, minimizing skin contact and minimizing vapor inhalation. Availability of eye washes and showerfacilities is recommended.
