• Extract stress histories and calculate fatigue lifes from stress data from multiple FEA solutions– User selects the FEA solution sets used to define

each load condition

• Determine plane of critical fatigue damage– Calculate stresses and fatigue damage in angular

increments about each node– Sum damage for each angular increment

After selecting “full analysis” on the job control form, the software produces a stress-time history for each node

containing N points (extracted from the N load cases). It then conducts a rainflow cycle count and

calculates fatigue damage (a typical SN analysis).
