BESTWAY CEMENT LIMITED FAROOQIA (A company of Bestway Group) Aug 2014 to Present

Trainee Engineer (Electrical & Instrument Department) Bestway Cement Limited is a premier organization in cement production having four plants under operation from which BCL Farooqia has 3400 tons per day cement production. Having its own 132 KV/6.3KV Grid Station and power distribution Substations.

Responsibilities: Assist area in charge for trouble free operation & maintenance of electrical & instruments of

concerned area. Make sure all safety precautions and proper measures are to be taken to protect human life and

equipment. Prepare KWH Energy consumption report of whole plant on daily bases. Assist area in charge in supervising the available manpower and plan the jobs for operation and

maintenance. Responsible for checking the performance of each instrument installed in the area during

shutdown and also maintain their record. Prepare the indents for spare parts of electrical and instrument equipment’s and inspection of

the spare parts. Calibrations of Pressure Transmitters of E&H using HART communicator, initial

parametrization of Pressure Switch using Dead Weight Tester, Temperature transmitter of INOR.

Zero And Span Calibration of Gas Analyzer when required.

PROJECTS:

Successfully completed the installation and commissioning of Fuji Gas Analyzer at coal mill. Successfully completed installation and commissioning of frequency drive at Cement mill to

eliminate dampers from fan operated motors in context of energy saving. Commissioning of 1200 Amp MV panel for cement mill MV drive.

6MW WASTE HEAT RECOVERY POWER PLANT PROJECT (Dalian China):

Planning & scheduling of activities of project on basis of their priorities. Instrument equipment layout, installation drawings such as cable schedule and

routing layout, junction box termination drawings, hookup drawings, PFDS , P&IDS, termination drawings.

Complete erection, commissioning and testing of SUPCON ECS100 panels. Turbine instrumentations like Casing expansion sensor, vibration sensors on

bearings, Axial displacements sensor, differential Expansion sensor, thrust bearing temperature sensors ,bearing metal temperatures, bearing oil return temperatures , pressure switches.

Erection & Commissioning of TSI Bentley Nevada 3500 system and Woodward’s 505 turbine controller.

Point location from P&IDS of temperature indicators, pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, flow nozzles, orifice plates, rotation detector, conductivity meter, electric contact water gauge, magnetic float level gauge, pneumatic control valves, motorized operated valves, PH Conductivity Sensors.

Installation of Differential Pressure Transmitter, pressure transmitters, orifice plates and their impulse piping from take up point to transmitter.

Online Calibration of instruments using Emerson 375 Field Communicator. Erection and commissioning of Electro pneumatic operated Dampers (MAX

EP). Erection and commissioning of cameras on MP and LP steam drums. Loop and continuity testing of Field instruments like pressure transmitters,

differential pressure transmitters, rotation detector, pneumatic control valves, motorized operated valves.
